Apartments situated in a fully refurbished building in the heart of Alfama. The Alfama is one of the oldest districts of Lisbon, known for his affable and friendly environment, with a unique view over the Tejo river, cruise ships, roofs, stairs and typical alleys typical.

The building is located near the Fado Museum, Casa dos Bicos, Miradouro de Santa Luzia, Castelo de São Jorge, Lisbon Cathedral, National Pantheon, Terreiro do Paço, Rossio and Restauradoures, and the famous flea fair, a outdoor market which takes place every Tuesday and Saturday.

Near the apartments you can find small cafés, typical restaurants, houses of Fado (national song), grocery stores, as well as easy access to various modes of transport including buses, metro, train, and taxis.

Modern apartment in historic building

The apartment has been freshly renovated, so everything is quite new. It even has a very small balcony for stepping outside to check the weather. There is a good-sized hot water heater, and the water pressure is so strong, we needed to shower with the pressure at half-strength. Unfortunately, the mattress is very firm, which may suit some people, but we found it too hard for comfort. Because of the location of the apartment halfway up a small street that is in the form of a staircase, it is important to be able to climb stairs, and the apartment is on what Americans call the third floor in the building. Overall, we had a good stay, and Barbara was very helpful in showing us everything, including how to get to the Metro station.

My mom and I stayed in one of the Alfama apartments for three nights during our visit to Lisbon. I found the apartment very comfortable, clean, quiet and reasonably priced. It had everything one could need - a cosy main space (which is separated into a living room and a bedroom), a clean bathroom, and a convenient kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, dishes, etc. Because the apartment had the kitchen, we could chose whether we wanted to cook a meal at home or go out to a restaurant. Everything in the apartment seemed new, and the building was well-maintained. The Alfama apartments staff was very friendly, helpful and quick to get back to us. Finally, the location was great - right in the historic Alfama district, close to the Fado Museum, and walking distance from the underground and the Tagus river. Next time I go to Lisbon, I'd definitely stay in the same apartment again!

Great apartment for holidays in Lisbon

This is a great apartment, excellent location, very clean and spacious. It is located in a walking distance from the most important attractions and right close to the city center.

The apartment itself has lots of space, a nice balcony and it is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped, has everything to cook.

I would recommend it to everyone who is going to stay in Lisbon!

Very cute apt!

The apartment is located in the old area of Lisboa, that is called Alfama. It is a very suggestive zone, especially during sunrise.
I guess the apartment has been recently renoved and is very confortable and fully equiped.
Furthermore the apt is really clean and the owner are the icing on the cake!
