Seaside Villa is a luxury detached 3 bed villa with a garage in a quiet location with panoramic uninterrupted views of Kalkan bay from every room. It has private swimming pool situated in an attractive spacious terrace and a garden with fruit trees. There is a shaded area for al fresco dining with a BBQ and comfortable sun beds.The fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher and washing machine.Each bedroom has a balcony overlooking the bay, 1 double, 1 twin (both en-suite with walk-in showers) and 1 single bedroom in the eaves (suitable for a child). Also downstairs toilet.Fully air-conditioned with satellite TV, DVD, CD/i-pod dock.All linen is provided, including beach towels and twice weekly maid service. Ideally located near the popular Samira De Luxe Hotel where guests are welcome to use all facilities (including cheap internet access). Just 5 minute's walking distance of the town and bus station for buses into Kas, Fethiye and Patara. Airport transfers and car hire easily arranged

Kalkan is situated on the beautiful Turquoise coast of Turkey - it is sophisticated with exceptional, romantic restaurants many of them having roof terraces overlooking the pretty waterfront harbour. This charming, small resort with its pretty cobbled streets is surrounded by cool forest mountains and is devoid of mass market tourism. There are shops housed in old buildings selling clothes, bags, jewellery and ceramics and a colourful, lively, weekly market. Kalkan has a small, shingle beach and there are free boat shuttle services from the harbour to the luxurious beach clubs. Boats are available to hire for day and half day excursions to the many beautiful surrounding islands. The 12 mile long Patara Beach is a short bus ride/car drive away as is the stunning Saklikent Gorge.

Great Week.

We had a wonderful week in this lovely house and thoroughly enjoyed all its facilities, as well as Kalkan itself, which none of us had previously visited. The villa is spacious, comfortable and excellently equipped and we wished we had been able to stay longer. We were two couples, so the ensuite shower rooms to each bedroom were an added attraction. As the weather was unexpectedly brilliant, the outside table and chairs and the sun loungers were well used. We also used the very inviting pool, although by late October the water was quite refreshing! The pool was always immaculate as Ramazan came every day to look after it and water the plants etc. The morning bread delivery from the Samira de Luxe was an added bonus and all the staff there were extremely friendly and helpful.
The stroll down to the town was easy and we felt quite virtuous after we'd walked back up the hill each time, especially after a meal at one of the fantastic restaurants.
We'd recommend Seaside Villa and Kalkan unreservedly and hope to return in the future.

Fantastic!

The villa met all our needs. Perfect views, facillities were great and well maintained. The owner provided helpful hints and suggestions in the welcome pack which was very useful) The

The location allowed for a 15 min walk into town (all downhill) and an easy taxi return (cost 9TL)

Town and Harbour area glorious with so many restaurants to choose from (our favourites were The Ivy, Baharat, Jasmine Gardens, Trio and the Aubergine) but I am sure that you wont be dissapointed wherever you eat (even the kebab shops sell fantastic food)

Overall a winner and we shall return

From start to finish our holiday at seaside villas exceeded all our expectations, from the clean and well presented villa with fantastic views of the harbour and the rolling countryside to the wonderful town of kalkan bay.

The villa itself had every creature comfort you would need from a couple to a large family, creating a prefect home from home enviroment. In Kalkan the locals are extremely friendly and it is a bustling town with great restaurants, bars and shops. (especially handbag shops!) We would particularly recommend the aubergine which has fantastic food and good views the bay.

We will be coming back again next year.

We had a perfect holiday. The villa was very well equipped and comfortable. It was lovely to get up every day and walk out on the terrace to be greeted with the such fantastic views of the harbour. Pool was spotless - the man came every day to clean it. Kalkan is a wonderful resort and the locals are so friendly and charming. Most of the restaurants are like 5 star London restaurants - our favourites being The Ivy, Aubergine and Sofra. We loved Patara (there always seemed to be a cool breeze blowing) and had a great day out in Meus (boat trip from Kas). All in all, a holiday to remember.

A holiday gem

Fabulous villa with great views. A real home from home. We had such a relaxing time, spending most days around the pool and had great BBQs in the evenings. We have fallen in love with Kalkan - it has everythng we wanted in a holiday - sunshine, great food and lovely people. We will be back next year.
