We have a completely refurbished, bright and very spacious two - bedroom apartment, which can sleep up to 6 people, available for you to stay in London!

The flat has two large double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, a bathroom with bathtub and its own shower, as well as a separate power shower cubicle, washing machine and tumble dryer, and a separate W.C.. The apartment has an open plan modern fitted kitchen with integrated dishwasher, large split-level oven and integrated microwave, and fridge-freezer, dining table and chairs to sit up to 6 people and leads into the sitting room, which has a three sitter leather sofa bed and corner lounging chair and Freeview colour TV. Both rooms have a whole wall of windows overlooking the leafy front garden. The apartment has internet wifi connection throughout. There is also resident street parking available for £1.50 (Local Council rates). per day.

In the local area you will find everything you need for a great stay; there are supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and take aways, all within walking distance of the house.

The area has great public transport links, and getting around is very simple and convenient. There is a bus stop outside the house, and it is just a 10mns' walk to Willesden Green Tube station on the Jubilee Line and 15 minute walk to Brondesbury Park Overland Station on the Silver Metrolink line to Richmond, Straford or Barking. There are many shops open 24/7 within 10 minutes'walk, including a large supermarket (Sainsbury's), trendy bars, pubs, and restaurants in Queens Park 15-20 minutes'walk down the road, as well as Queens Park itself, which is a very popular park with all the neighbourhood, and Willesden Sports Centre, with its large swimming pool, is also 10-15 minutes' walk from the house.

About Michelle Newman

I am the proud grandmother of 3. This is our family home where I live in the downstairs flat with my husband and we rent the two 1st floor flats. I am also the director of a Drama School and I have also taught English all my adult life to age 16 to 55 from all over the world whereas my husband is a QC practising law in London and abroad.

This property is located in a very leafy area, close to some good schools and lovely parks, and yet is very accessible to the centre of London thanks to its multiple public transports facilities (JUbilee line from Willesden Green tube station, Bakerloo Line from Queens Park station, Silver Metro Link from Brondesbury Park overland station, and bus routes in front of the door.

What makes this apartment unique

This is a 1928 property with all the character features of that period and yet entirely renovated inside, so as to offer all modern comforts. We also benefit from the wonderful view of our back garden, which is the product of my passion for organic and wildlife gardening.

Beautiful, spacious, and great location

We are a family of five (2 adults, 3 boys), stayed in this apartment for a week, and absolutely loved it. The flat is beautiful and very well appointed; we felt welcome upon our arrival with fresh flowers and many of the basic amenities. Jean, the house manager, was very helpful and extremely pleasant and also quite accomodating. The location was wonderful; it doesn't feel as though you are downtown, yet it is only a short walk to the underground/overground system. We enjoyed the nearby parks (esp Queen's Park) and even took advantage of a wonderful farmer's market on the Sunday. There are many stores, restaurants, and pubs nearby - overall, the location felt very "safe".

The flat itself is surprisingly spacious - although we have three young boys, we never felt like we were in each other's way. Michelle was very responsive and answered all of our questions with great patience. It was our first experience at renting a holiday flat and it certainly will not be our last - the only issue is whether we will have this much success with other locations!

In short: we highly recommend this flat, and we are already looking forward to our return.

Fantastic 2-Bedroom - Really Made Our Stay Perfect

This is the perfect place for a vacation to London. Its proximity to sights is just right. Underground and overground trains are just a short walk away (with regular buses if you don't care for walking), and the local shops and restaurants make it easy to stop for a quick bite on the way home or to pick up something for the flat (I recommend the Alice House and the Salusbury for dinner). The flat is spacious, very comfortable, and beautifully updated. The house manager, Jean, is splendid and made us feel right at home when we arrived. We had two individual adults and one couple staying in the flat, so the separate bedrooms and private sitting room area was just right. Overall, a PERFECT place to stay!

Prefect for two couples or a family

This is a really spacious first floor level apartment with completely renovated and comfortable living and cooking facilities. There is wifi available, a large TV excellent kitchen facilities and good open living.

The bedrooms are well set out - one double facing the road and the other to the rear of the property. Entrance is up the side and private.

The owners live downstairs and it was a help as there were inevitably a couple of things to clarify. The property is quiet, and so close to overland rail, the Tube, and there are good taxis. The shopping is within walking distance and a very good variety.

We loved it.

Fantastic apartment, location and owner

In point form:
1. The apartment is by far one of the best accommodations I have stayed in, and in London this is a rarity. It's huge, it's extremely bright and open, it has an excellent high standard kitchen for those who love cooking and one can easily both entertain and cook with comfort. (And yes the pictures do reflect the apartment)
2. As a family with a toddler that just moved from Canada the standard of the apartment exceeded our expectations and Michelle the owner has accommodated every single one of our needs in a very prompt manner.
3. The location - We found Queens park (Salisbury ave.) to be a lovely oasis within London, so much so that we decided to rent our own apartment in the area. The park is amazing for those with young children, and true to London you can walk everywhere.
4. For those using a car - Parking is plentiful around the apartment, it only costs 1 pound a day and within 15 mins you can be in London's largest malls - Westfields in White City.

By the time we leave it will be nearly 2 months and we definitely feel we've made it our home.

Super Stay in London

This spring 2014, we had the opportunity to rent this wonderful apartment in London. I must say that my wife, my kids and myself were thoroughly impressed by the apartment.

LOTS and LOTS of space, well equipped and great kitchen, spacious living room and bedrooms, so much light through the windows.

The apartment is also superbly located in a very nice and safe neighborhood, with the bus stop one block away, within minutes walking to the Tube, large groceries, shops, restaurants, banks, café's,

Also a good word for the owner and her House Manager as they are very kind and helpful if you need anything.

We will go back at that apartment next time around in London, that's for sure.

We are situated in Brondesbury Park, 10 min walk from Willesden Green station on the Jubilee Line, Zone 2 which takes you to Bond Street in 15 min and Dockland in 40 min and 15-20 min walk from Queen's Park on the Bakerloo Line. There are two main Parks within a short walking distance: Queen's Park and Roundwood Park, both with excellent amenities for families with young children. There is also an excellent Sports Centre with a large swimming pool, 10 min walk away and Hampstead Heath with all its outdoor attractions, which include Kenwood House, is a 10 min drive or tube journey away. You can also get the overland train to Kew Gardens (20 min) and Richmond (25 min) from Brondesbury Park Rail station (10 min walk). There is a Farmers Market down the road in Queen's Park every Sunday; the famous London Fringe theatre 'The Tricycle' is 15 minutes' walk away and 'Little Venice' with Regent's Park canal and Portobello Road are a 40-45 min walk.

Golf: Ealing Golf Club is renowned for the condition of its course and the greens are some of the best in England. The Clubhouse has recently undergone a major improvement programme throughout and it offers a comfortable and relaxed area to be enjoyed after a round. Our close proximity to the centre of London has, in the past, attracted celebrity Members such as Sir Henry Cooper, football legends Ruud Gullit and Denis Wise and entertainer Matt Monro. The Club has seen golfing legends such as Peter Allis, Greg Norman, Bernhard Langer and Paul McGinley play the course and enjoy the special hospitality it has to offer. Its annual Scratch Open and Am/Am tournament attracts the best amateur players in the country and past winners include Gary Wolstenholme, James Heath, Anthony Wall and Van Phillips. It is a friendly, relaxed Club welcoming applications for membership to all sections.
