We have a completely refurbished, bright and very spacious two - bedroom apartment, which can sleep up to 6 people, available for you to stay in London!

The flat has two large double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, a bathroom with bathtub and its own shower, as well as a separate power shower cubicle, washing machine and tumble dryer, and a separate W.C.. The apartment has an open plan modern fitted kitchen with integrated dishwasher, large split-level oven and integrated microwave, and fridge-freezer, dining table and chairs to sit up to 6 people and leads into the sitting room, which has a three sitter leather sofa bed and corner lounging chair and Freeview colour TV. Both rooms have a whole wall of windows overlooking the leafy front garden. The apartment has internet wifi connection throughout. There is also resident street parking available for £1 per day.

In the local area you will find everything you need for a great stay; there are supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and take aways, all within walking distance of the house.

The area has great public transport links, and getting around is very simple and convenient. There is a bus stop outside the house, and it is just a 10mns' walk to Willesden Green Tube station on the Jubilee Line and 15 minute walk to Brondesbury Park Overland Station on the Silver Metrolink line to Richmond, Straford or Barking. There are many shops open 24/7 within 10 minutes'walk, including a large supermarket (Sainsbury's), trendy bars, pubs, and restaurants in Queens Park 15-20 minutes'walk down the road, as well as Queens Park itself, which is a very popular park with all the neighbourhood, and Willesden Sports Centre, with its large swimming pool, is also 10-15 minutes' walk from the house.

I am the proud grandmother of 3. This is our family home where I live in the downstairs flat with my husband and we rent the two 1st floor flats. I am also the director of a Drama School and I have also taught English all my adult life to age 16 to 55 from all over the world whereas my husband is a QC practising law in London and abroad.

Michelle Newman purchased this apartment in 1979

This property is located in a very leafy area, close to some good schools and lovely parks, and yet is very accessible to the centre of London thanks to its multiple public transports facilities (JUbilee line from Willesden Green tube station, Bakerloo Line from Queens Park station, Silver Metro Link from Brondesbury Park overland station, and bus routes in front of the door.

This is a 1928 property with all the character features of that period and yet entirely renovated inside, so as to offer all modern comforts. We also benefit from the wonderful view of our back garden, which is the product of my passion for organic and wildlife gardening.

THE APARTMENT WAS SPACIOUS VERY CLEAN AND HAD ALL THAT YOU MAY NEED. THE OWNERS WERE VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL. THE BUS STATION NEAR THE HOUSE (98) AND THE NEAR TUBE(WILLESDEN GREEN) TAKE EASILY TO THE CENTER. WE WILL STAY IN THE SAME APARTMENT IN OUR JOURNEY TO LONDON.

Nothing bad to say about this place and so many good things about it.

Amenities; You can easily live here. The one bedroom unit has everything - high quality washer and dryer, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and large gas stove, all looking like they were bought yesterday. There are windows all over the place that overlook a well manicured garden and a quiet side street. The bedroom has ample closets and drawers that were clean and spacious. I thought we had packed too much until we put all our stuff out and saw all the leftover space. Queen bed is firm and comfy, clean and well dressed with quality bedding. Bathroom is big and well equipped with a large bath. Plenty of water pressure and temperature for a great shower. There is a new futon/couch in the living room, along with a dinner table and flat screen TV, in the living room - that has changed from the photo online. Seems like an upgrade to me.

Overall, the place was spotless when we got in.

Location: Close enough, yet far enough. Willesden Green tube is a short 10 min walk which puts you on the Jubilee line, but the 206 bus runs right outside the property, which is a 5 minute ride to the Queen's Park tube, if you're feeling lazy. We purchased Zone 2 weekly passes for about 30 quid and we were set for the week. Sainsbury's grocery store is close buy and cooking in the kitchen is a breeze.

Additional: We got in on Monday and had arranged to meet Jean (property manager) to finalize things. As things happen, we got tied up and showed up half and hour late. Jean had waited for us (we didn't have the ability to contact her) and was fine with everything. Very nice lady...
We took a look at the two bedroom unit and it is everything our place is and more.

There were a few nice touches, as well: bread, milk, butter, fruit, tea, coffee, sugar, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap and everything else you'd find in a home (but no BEER!!! lol). Plates, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, towels...all provided.

The property was VERY clean and very well kept! I love that Michelle had the house ready for us INCLUDING milk, butter and bread upon arrival! It was spacious and comfortable, in a great location to travel all over London and surrounding. Amazing kitchen for saving money by eating in and very comfortable beds for all. Michelle was VERY kind to us and gave us great tips on things to see around the city. While the road out front has a decent amount of activity, the house was very quiet! Excellent stay and highly recommended!!

Excellent stay !

My wife, our two teenage girls and I stayed at this lovely "1-bedroom" apartment between 10th Aug and 17th Aug, 2013. The owner (Michelle), who lives downstairs, and her business partner (Jean) were quite responsive to our inquiries and needs. There was some food available at our arrival so we considered that a bonus.

There is plenty of space for four people and the apartment has a separate entrance, is pretty bright and equipped with everything one needs for storing food and cooking. Wi-Fi runs superbly fast so we had no problem Skype-ing our folks back home.

The nearest subway / underground / train station is not too far from the house and you can go straight to Westminster (where the Big Ben is) without changing lines. There is a supermarket just opposite the station open until 10:00pm and the washing machine and dryer came in handy as we came back home with pratically nothing to wash.

Overall, we had a great stay at this appartment.

Perfect family stay

We spent 7 nights in this apartment. It had everything you would need. A nice surprise to arrive in the evening and find some food in the fridge. Very warm and cosy. Just a 10 minute walk to Willesden Green tube. Would definitely stay here again. Also fast wifi to keep our teenagers happy.

We are situated in Brondesbury Park, 10 min walk from Willesden Green station on the Jubilee Line, Zone 2 which takes you to Bond Street in 15 min and Dockland in 40 min and 15-20 min walk from Queen's Park on the Bakerloo Line. There are two main Parks within a short walking distance: Queen's Park and Roundwood Park, both with excellent amenities for families with young children. There is also an excellent Sports Centre with a large swimming pool, 10 min walk away and Hampstead Heath with all its outdoor attractions, which include Kenwood House, is a 10 min drive or tube journey away. You can also get the overland train to Kew Gardens (20 min) and Richmond (25 min) from Brondesbury Park Rail station (10 min walk). There is a Farmers Market down the road in Queen's Park every Sunday; the famous London Fringe theatre 'The Tricycle' is 15 minutes' walk away and 'Little Venice' with Regent's Park canal and Portobello Road are a 40-45 min walk.

Golf: Ealing Golf Club is renowned for the condition of its course and the greens are some of the best in England. The Clubhouse has recently undergone a major improvement programme throughout and it offers a comfortable and relaxed area to be enjoyed after a round. Our close proximity to the centre of London has, in the past, attracted celebrity Members such as Sir Henry Cooper, football legends Ruud Gullit and Denis Wise and entertainer Matt Monro.
