Exceptional location for a reasonable apartment

My wife and myself stayed 6 nights at this apartment for New Year period.
Situated in a perfect location, between Covent Garden and Soho, meanwhile, it's a bit noisy (we had ambulances passing Charing Cross all over the night).
Even if it's a cosy and look like a nice artist dressing-room, we couldn't find it very functional if you intend to cook at home or even to eat take-away food (which was our main purpose when choosing an apartment instead of a hotel). For example, we couldn't find a simple tray to reheat something in the huge oven and it doesn't have a microwave. In a such nice decorated apartment there's not a small dining table with two simple chairs. Also, we found that the bath could have a curtain so we wouldn't have to clean the wet floor every day.
As for touristic informations, we brought our own guide, but I have to emphasize that there was a huge amount of guides and books at our disposal.
In summary, it's a cosy and well located apartment, but not very functional for those who intend to eat at home.
Owner's Response: I would like to point out that there are in fact three trays for use in the oven which are located in the little cupboard underneath the oven. They also were asked to call if they needed anything.
Also that these guests were given an early check in and a very late checkout to accommodate their flight times.
