A detached 3 bedroom house available for all year round rental situated on the sunny South West coast of Madeira where it's position allows a great view down to the sea. Madeira is a year round plant lovers paradise and has some not to be missed attractions at the Botanical Gardens in Funchal and the gardens at Palheiro . There are walks available of all grades from a gentle stroll alongside a levada to a full scale 'yomp' .The accomodation consists of a large lounge , dining room that seats 6 , kitchen/breakfast room , further kitchen with hob and BBQ area . Master Bedroom with king size bed and en suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 with double bed and bedroom 3 with single bed and fitted wardrobes . Separate shower room. A Private pool with large sun kissed terraced area and pergola.

The village of Arco da Calheta is situated on the south west coast of Madeira, about half an hour’s drive from Funchal. The south west coast has the most sun and the least rain on the island. The beach at Calheta is a ten minute drive, and there are several very good restaurants within easy driving distance. EasyJet fly most days from Gatwick, Stansted and Bristol , TAP most days from Gatwick and the holiday charter firms fly from lots of airports around the UK although these flights are mostly just on a Monday . For 2010 Jet2 will also be starting flights from Manchester.

Notes: Re suitability , the property is laid out on one level and only has two steps down to the terrace and pool . However the driveway up to the parking space throught the gates is relatively steep and could cause a problem for some , this is the only reason for it being flagged as unsuitable for the elderly or infirm .
