perfect location in historic center of Vicenza

I stayed in this apartment for 4 months, with my daughter, and can recommend it as the perfect location to stay in the historic center of beautiful Vicenza. The apartment is centrally located on a small pedestrian street, in a well maintained and quiet building. It is a pleasant walk to everything from here. There is a flight of stairs to this top floor apartment (no elevator, which was not a problem for me)-- the stone stairs are spacious and wide and kept very clean.
The apartment is typical of the new attic apartments which are now found in most historic buildings, and the owners are friendly, attentive, responsive, and helpful without ever being intrusive. The apartment is very clean. The furnishings are simple and functional, small kitchen with just the most basic equipment, including a washingmachine for laundry. There is airconditioning available, which is unusual, though I didnt need it in the winter.
I really enjoyed my stay in the apartment and have already recommended it to friends. Vicenza is a beautiful smalll town, certainly worth a visit if you are in the area touring Venice.
