Secluded Gem in heart of Village

"The property was excellent - looked exactly like the pictures. A very well designed layout with plenty of light and shade at different times of the day plus a choice of different seating areas for dining. A lovely verdant garden. Inside, everything was very clean with everything we needed. Rooms had air conditioning and/ or celing fans so it was always nice and cool. The only thing that was slightly lacking was the satellite tv service - english speaking channels seemed to be limited to bbc world news and euro news and as we were there during the 2nd week of the Olympics I have been looking forward to watching some key events live, which wasn't possible. A suitable entertainment channel would have been good too (e.g. for children coming in out of the sun). However we weren't on holiday to watch television so this was only a very minor inconvenience and is only mentioned as a possible improvement. Apart from that it is hard to find fault.

The location was excellent - very quiet place but it was great being in among native cypriots and although there are lots of holiday villas in and around the village it retains its own identity and leaves it to the nearby towns of Polis & Paphos to provide more typical tourist fare.

All the restaurants we ate in were good quality, particularyly around Polis & Latchi with Yiangos & Peters Taverna in Latchi probably the pick of the bunch for service, for example offering advice on dishes and tailoring dishes to request.

The owners, John & Angela, offer a very high level of service. Very friendly and approachable, they make sure they are at the property when visitors arrive to show them round the villa and provide some basic provisions to help get settled in. They were insistent on us calling them should we have the slightest problem - which we never needed to do.
