Arcadie is a beautiful villa nestled on the side of a valley with views of the Southern Alps and also distant views of the Mediterranean Sea. It offers approx. 250 sq. m of living space split over three levels. The top level consists of the lounge/dinning area equipped with TV (satellite), DVD player and stereo, fully equipped kitchen, toilet, bathroom and two bedrooms, 1 twin and 1 double. The upstairs balcony is a perfect place for leisurely breakfasts taking in the views. The lower level has a kid’s bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds and a TV/video, selection of kids films. 1 double bedroom, family bathroom and a separate laundry room. The lowest level features a fully equipped summer kitchen and playroom which spills out onto the beautiful infinity pool and patio area. There is plenty of room for alfresco dinning and BBQ's.

From the perfume centre of Grasse,to the ramparts of old St Paul itself, the area is rich in culture and history. Whether it is skiing in the alps, or sailing on the crystal clear waters of the cote de azur, Arcadie is situated near it all. There is horse riding, tennis, golf, windsurfing, cycling, and many more sports, all with 15 mins drive. There is hiking in the mountains & valleys that surround Nice and St Paul, and for the less energetic a leisurely stroll around the weekly markets of Vence and Nice. There is plenty of shopping from quaint anitique shops to shopping centres with everything under one roof, and, of course, the haut couture of Cannes and Nice. The area has something for everyone and all details are provided in a welcoming book at the villa.

  • The amount of 1500.00 Euros is required upon booking as a security deposit against property loss and/or damage and unpaid charges. The full amount will be returned by mail within three weeks of departure.

The double bedroom has a lovely balcony opening onto beautiful views of the sea and mountains which is on the upper level next to the twin bedroom.

The house is situated on the side of a valley and has beautiful views but there are stairs down to the pool and lower levels of the garden and boules court. It is still ideal for young families as this means that the pool and patio areas are fully fenced and seperate from the house. The spiral staircase connecting the first and second floors of the main house has a purpose built lockable stair gate at the top and a lockable door at the bottom making it very safe for toddlers, there is also a fire guard, two travel cots, a highchair together with a playroom full of toys and inflatable's for the pool all supplied at your convenience to make holidaying with young children as easy as possible.

All rooms have fans. There is a weekly maid service; and linens and towels are all included. The villa is situated in a quiet road for a peaceful and private hideaway near the picturesque village of St. Paul, one of the most interesting and beautiful villages in the south of France, boasting two Michelin starred restaurants, beautiful shops, art galleries, culture and golf. It is only 10 mins drive from Nice Airport and 5 mins drive down to the beach and into the village of Cagnes sur mer. The auto route is only 5 mins away with access to Cannes 15 mins, Antibes 20 mins, and Monaco 25 mins. The Italian markets of San Remo and Ventimglia are only 45 mins away. With a full list of what’s on and how to get there provided and updated monthly then the only decision is when to begin your adventure!

Perfect Vacation Home For Families

This Villa is set up perfectly for a family escape to the South of France. We stayed here for a week at the end of August with our three children, our Au Pair, and my mother. There are plenty of pool toys, children's videos and the swing in the yard was a bid hit. While there are a lot of stairs to climb if you forgot your bottle of rosé upstairs, you learn quickly to stock the "summer kitchen" and the entire day can be spent by the pool.

Located just outside of Cagnes, access to the autoroute makes it easy to escape to Canne, Monaco, and we even did a day trip to Italy.

We would definitely stay here again and invite a second family to join us next time, there is plenty of space. Thank you "Arcadie" for a fantastic vacation.
