Benvenuti (Italian for “Welcome”) is a magnificent house situated on the Kaiteriteri ridge overlooking the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park and beaches of the South Island, New Zealand. It is a great place to relax and escape from it all. Kaiteriteri (only 45 minutes drive from Nelson airport) is one of the most beautiful beaches and enjoys some of the highest sunshine hours in New Zealand. It is ideally suited for swimming, kayaking and many other recreational activities. It is also the gateway to the beautiful Golden Bay region. Benvenuti has been designed with flexibility, comfort and luxury in mind. The spacious, fully self-contained two-storey house comfortably caters for up to 8 people. Kaiteriteri beach is one of New Zealand’s most popular holiday destinations - right on the doorstep to:

Abel Tasman National Park, where you can enjoy day or overnight trips, hiking, camping and swimming from one of the 90+ sandy beaches. Fishing - For the fishermen, the Motueka river valley is a great place to try your luck.

Nearby town - Motueka township is a 15 minute drive from Kaiteriteri, and has two supermarkets, many cafés and restaurants, as well as a variety of shops. Golden Bay – Take a drive over Takaka hill for breathtaking panoramic views and enter the settlement of Takaka, gateway to Golden Bay and Farewell Spit, all of which have their own attractions. Marlborough region –discover New Zealand’s most prolific wine producing region.

Nelson city – vibrant – and less than an hour drive from Kaiteriteri. Much much more! - Horse-riding, wineries, arts and crafts and many fantastic eateries are all within easy driving distance of Kaiteriteri.

We found Benvenuti absolutely gorgeous! There were four of us and we stayed for 3 nights which simply should have been longer given that the house and its view were so relaxing. The house is really well equipped, of generous proportions (more than big enough for 4 adults) and very welll presented - really clean neat and tidy - and with a particulary good kitchen. The photos on the website simply don't do it justice. Should you go you - which you really should - you will find the house far nicer and the view far better than you anticipate. It's also really well placed for discovering the area and close enough to walk into the local town. All in all we had a great stay and will definitely go back when we are next in the area.
