Villa Pasquale is 15 km west of Martina Franca, elegant Baroque town, between the Mediterranean and Adriatic coasts. The Villa, set within large grounds is constructed around two trulli and this gives it the fairy tale look. The house is located in a peaceful area surrounded by trees for privacy. The local village is minutes drive or long walk.
Main house: One double and one twin bedroom, bathroom with shower, kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer opening out into lounge /diner with fireplace. TV, DVD, stereo. Large patio and portico with two outdoor dining tables, one under a pergola of flowers.
Annexe: double bedroom en-suite with shower. All bedrooms have aircon/heating. Utility room with washing machine and extra fridge/freezer. The terrace overlooks the new 8 m swimming pool with its shower area.
Distances to restaurants/shop: 30 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car.
The house is one one level os is suitable for those with some disability but is not adapted for wheelchairs.
3km - butcher, food shops, chemist, bar, post office, bar, pizzeria, restaurants.
15 minutes - Martina Franca, baroque wealthy town with top quality shops, restaurants, cinema, tennis courts. It has a music festival in July.
45 minutes - world heritage site, Alberobello with its trulli village.
25 minutes - Taranto with its naval base and Greek Remains
There are a number of historic hill towns such as Locorotondo, Ostuni within 30 minutes drive.

There are many interesting things to do in the area. Being centrally located it is easy to visit the historical town of Martina France (excellent shopping), Alberobello, Locorotondo, Lecce etc. Horse Riding, Golf, Safari Park, Grotto, Walking in the Nature Reserve, Aqua Park, Cookery Courses, Cinema. It is approx 30 minutes drive to beaches on either the Adriatic or the Ionian Coasts. The town is built on a hill in the green Valle d'Itria, the trulli area of Puglia, and it makes a good day trip if you are exploring the region. Martina Franca is an incredibly photogenic town, so come equipped to take lots of pictures: the narrow lanes are here illuminated by whitewashed walls, pale stone and tiny open spaces.
This area of Puglia has a wealth of things to do. Within 5 minutes walking is a riding stables which organises picnics and hacks.
Aqua Park, Golf, National Park, Safari Park. Go-Karting, Cookery Courses, Outdoor markets (there is an antique market Sunday once a month in Martina Franca), July Music Festival.
