Our 17th century wooden mansion, a protected and listed heritage building, was built in around 1650 and in timberland is located at Room 13 End, a quiet narrow street at the picturesque village of Broek in Waterland. It only takes 15 minutes by bus to reach the center of Amsterdam and 30 minutes to reach Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
In 1976, this fabulous house has been completely restored and renovations over the years have been completed so now it has all the modern facilities needed.
The house numbers 13 and 11 are in the same mansion but there is no disturbance or privacy at all. All neighbors are friendly and helpful.
A four steps stairs leads you through the entrance 80 cm above street level into the kitchen-dining room. The luxury kitchen features a freezer, fridge, microwave, oven, gas cooker with six burners, dish washer and sink.
The dining table is positioned in front of the open fire place which can be used by burning logs.
The living room includes a computer with internet as well as stereo CD / DVD player and digital HD TV with dish reception-including many international TV stations and a large collection of DVDs and CDs.
On the first floor you will find one large bedroom with high quality double bed (180x200 cm) and second TV and wardrobe.
Separately a modern washing machine and dryer have been installed.
The bathroom has two wash basins, a shower and a bath.

Central hot air heating warms the whole house well insulated and is very efficient.

Broek in Waterland has a few small, fine shops. Supermarkets you will find in nearby Amsterdam Noord (6 km) and Monnickendam (6 miles).
The Waterland region has very interesting cities zoals Edam and Monnickendam as well as villages of Volendam and Marken zoals. The Zaanse Schans is close by as well and usefull worth visiting.
