Beautiful 2 bedroom Apartment overlooking the Historic Royal Mile

This impressive second floor apartment is a perfect base from which to explore this beautiful city of Edinburgh, whether for business or pleasure. This is a gorgeous apartment which is furnished to a luxurious standard by a leading interior designer. It is within walking distance to all of Edinburgh's attractions, including Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood House. It is also a 10-15 minute walk to Harvey Nichols......

The apartment itself has a very large drawing/dining room (table seats 6) with ornate cornicing, three windows overlooking Edinburgh's most historic street - The Royal Mile. A comprehensive fully functional kitchen with all appliances is accessed from both the hall and the living/dining room.

The master bedroom with queen-size bed, has built in wardrobes and a flat screen TV. The second twin bedroom has two single beds and both bedrooms benefit from views over The Royal Mile.

A main bathroom with large walk-in shower, wc and heated towel rail, completes the accommodation.

An absolutely stunning property in an absolutely stunning location. Well appointed 2 bedrooms consisting of a queen-size bed in bedroom 1 and two single beds in bedroom 2. Fully functional kitchen with all mod cons, including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer. The large lounge (20 feet x 20 feet) can be used to host dinner parties and the free WiFi (with unlimited downloads) is great for those who prefer to work on their laptops.

Only 5 minutes walk from Princes Street, a great opportunity to stay in one of Edinburgh's prestige addresses and highly recommended for corporate clients.

You can take advantage in hiring a chauffeured drive to the apartment from Edinburgh Airport, if you wish. Please enquire cost when booking.

We stayed at this apartment over New Years Eve and what a week !!

We loved staying in this lovely apartment and the views were amazing.

Can't wait to come back soon. Highly recommended but be prepared for the stairs.

SPACIOUS AND CENTRAL

The apartment is accurately represented by the photos and the location is fantastic for a first time visit to Edinburgh being right in the middle of the Royal Mile. The apartment was clean and Shahid provided very prompt and friendly service via email. We rent self-catering because we are serious about cooking for ourselves the majority of the time. I do think that the kitchen equipment needs to be updated and added to, especially at least one sharp knife and a good chopping board. In addition, if there are 4 adults sharing the apartment there needs to be larger towels provided for the single bed room. Only the double room had good sized towels.

We visited the castle and spent most of a day there. We climbed Arthur's seat and Calton Hill (great coffee at the little courtyard cafe on Calton Hill). We ate one night at the Whiski Bar and then returned every night for a pint and to listen to the music. Our last day we had lunch at Petite Paris in Grassmarket - highly recommended. The coffee shop downstairs in the apartment building also makes good coffee and has lovely fresh pastries.

Overall I would recommend the property to friends and in fact have already done so.

PERFECT LOCATION, VERY RELAXING

Easy walk from train station, and to all major tourist attractions. Lovely, spacious, high ceilinged rooms, comfortable beds and bath. Coffee shop on ground floor, many restaurants nearby. Owner very accommodating. Would rent again if ever in Edinburgh. Thanks!

GOOD AND BAD LOCATION - VERY NOISY AT NIGHTS!!!

The apartment is on the top floor and there is no elevator- but it is in a nice building. The apartment's furniture is OK, it photographs better than it looks -
The location is ground zero for being in the heart of the tourist area - and it is very close to the castle. It is easy to walk to any major downtown areas. However, at least on the weekend we were there - people were up partying all night and all that noise went right through our closed windows. It was very difficult to sleep in the apartment. We obviously were not thrilled with this apartment especially after we realized how much we paid for 2 nights of limited sleep.

The apartment has been designed by a leading interior designer and all furniture is kept to reflect the wonderful history of the apartment which is over 250 years old.

As it is a Category 1 listed building, no glazing is allowed to be installed and this create some street noise to travel into the apartment.

I hope to install some internal glazing to the apartment in time for your return visit.

LOVELY BIG APARTMENT

Lovely apartment, very big and spacious! Had everything we needed. Central for all the main attractions, great to be able to walk to everything and just five mins from the castle. Apartment was clean and had wonderful views out the window of the streets below. Only drawback for us was the noise at night, we were prepared for some noise as the apartment is so central, but didn't expect it to go on until the morning. Shame as we loved the apartment itself and the location.
