This property is situated in a much sought after location in the village of Xaghra, having the liveliest village life with a bustling square and a number of good restaurants. The world renown 7000 year old Ggantija Temples just off its centre are of course the pride of the village.

The property is a typical Gozo village farmhouse tastefully converted for modern use and caters for large family groups of up to eight persons in 4 separate nicely furnished bedrooms, all with ensuite facilities. With a lovely private patio and pool area, bedrooms with village views and private terraces, and set as it is in a quiet alley, this property makes for a relaxing holiday, whilst still within walking distance the centre of the village.

Services include a utility room with washing machine, dishwasher in the kitchen, free Wifi and cable Tv in the living area and fans in all rooms.

Probably the earliest inhabited part of Gozo, it is home to the gantija megaliths, the Xaghra Stone Circle, as well as underground features Xerri's Grotto and Ninu's Cave. It is the second-largest village after Nadur in Gozo, with a population of 4,200 people (Jun 2008). During the British period of its history, Xag?ra was known as Caccia by foreign residents. Xaghra Main Square is the centre for all activity: from Restaurants to Cafe's to the local fish, fresh fruit and vegetables vendors. Property is just 200 meters from main square. the closest beaches are Ramla beach and Marsalforn both not more than 2 km from property.

Stayed in this rental in the very small village of Xaghra. Nice to relax and lounge in the pool. The unit was clean and was spaced out well. Might be somewhat crowded for more than 6 persons. We stayed in the summer and it was very hot which in turn made the rooms very hot. If the windows had screens would have been better for air circulation for fans did not do much for the bedrooms, or even better air conditioning. This area is very small has a lovely church ,a few cafes and restaurants. Nice if you want to stay in a quiet area. We had no car and found that the bus transit was very very good . No problems to get around and just a short 10 min bus ride to Victoria the main city. The city is very nice and just remember the town shuts down in the afternoon for a few hours. Shopping ,cafes , restaurants try Mojos!!! Excellent. Baron Group was wonderful with helping with transport to and from airport in Malta, as well as if you need any services regarding tours to personal care just a phone call away. Gozo is a very lovely small island if you want to just get away. Just a quick ferry ride from Malta.
