A TASTE OF ELEGANT LIVING

  • 4 of 5
This lovely ground floor apartment provided my husband and I with a gorgeous, comfortable, spacious and elegant base close to Stirling city centre, yet situated in a quuiet and private setting. The apartment is tastefully furnished and decorated with items appropriate to the age and space of the property. The owner, James, lives quite close and was very speedy in responding to minor problems like light bulbs.
Personally, I think the apartment is better for a couple; I would be reluctant to share it with anyone else! For the two of us, it was the perfect retreat and Stirling and its environs make for a fabulous holiday setting. This is the second property we have rented through Stirling Self Catering Ltd and the standard of accommodation is matched by the excellent customer service from the staff there. Highly recommended!

BEAUTIFUL SETTING!

  • 4 of 5
We had a very relaxing stay. The apartment is very spacious and clean, and the building and grounds are beautiful. Only drawback was the laundry. We had been traveling and needed to catch up on laundry, however, the combined washer/dryer system that we find in so many of these apartments is not very efficient. We would consider a stay here again in the future.

ABSOUTELY PERFECT!!

  • 5 of 5
This apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay in Stirling. It was close enough to the center to walk to and even close enough to walk to the train station. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. There is a beautiful park nearby, a golf course and trails for walking/hiking as well. We couldn't have asked for more. We would definitely stay here again.

LUXURIOUS, SPACIOUS APARTMENT!

  • 5 of 5
We had the great pleasure of staying here for a week over New Year.We found the property by pure luck while searching for accomadation in Stirling. Although there were no reviews we were sold after viewing the audio visual tour and also by cost comparisons
Beautifully appointed, spacious and with excellent levels of cleanliness and maintenance.
There is nothing this apartment lacks in either charm, space, comfort or facilities. A camera monitored entrance ensures complete security and although there are a number of aparments in this facility there was no noise transference at all!
There is a parking space right at the front door if you have a car.
The living area is huge with a magnificent bay window looking out to the beautifully manicured gardens. Plenty of comfortable seating and a gorgeous 8 seating dining table. Flat screen TV, WiFi and an iPod docking station covered all in home entertainment.
Kitchen is truly fully equipped including washer/dryer and dish washer.
Lots of storage space in the hall leading to the huge bedroom with again great storage, yes even enough for two adults and two teenage girls!
The bathrooms are well appointed with high quality towels matching that of the bed linen.
The apartment is an easy and beautiful 10 minute walk to downtown Stirling.
You are well placed to explore the historic city of Stirling and it's surrounds, returning to your own slice of luxury in the evening! It is an easy train commute into Glasgow and Edinburgh but be sure to get out to the Wallace Memorial, the Castle and its surrounds, not forgetting Dune Castle , well worth a visit.
We also visited Loch Lomond and the Trussachs area and although there was alot of rain this did not spoil our sight seeing too much.
Most of the supermarkets are not walking distance, although an easy commute if you haver a car, however Marks and Spencers is downtown and were happy to home deliver.
We particulary enjoyed the space (travelling in Europe for a month), being able to unpack, put away suitcases and spread out, felt like home!
Our booking process was smooth and faultless, Kirsteen particulary helpful with great communication.
The aparment was fully centrally heated with a really efficent timer which meant we always came home to a cosy house!
Our only complaint was we could'nt stay longer!
We are a family of two parents and two teenage girls
Happy to highly recommend this apartment and answer any questions.
Will return to Springwood Apartments!

Springwood Apartment is close to the very heart of Stirling City centre; a two minute walk to all the attractions within the historic City: the magnificent Castle and rich Scottish heritage centre, the Old City Jail and the Tolbooth. The historical Bannockburn Heritage Centre is only a 20-minute walk from the city centre; there is a good selection of pubs and restaurants in the area.Wallace’s monument is a 2 min drive; on the way, stop off and visit the Old Stirling Bridge.

The surrounding countryside is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts: walking, cycling and paragliding are all on offer on the nearby Ochil Hills. Slightly further :The Trossachs, Callander, Loch Lomond National Park, Glasgow and Edinburgh providing, therefore, the ideal central touring base for your holiday.

Golf being available at every turn: Kings Park’s own course and at least another five within Falkirk district, a 15 min drive away. Slightly further afield are the world famous Gleneagles and St Andrew’s Old Cours
