Located on the beach less than 20m from the sea in the bay in front of the ancient village of Marzamemi, built around the trap during the period of Arab domination of Sicily from which comes the name: Marsa al-ham? m, which means 'Bay of Doves'. The extraordinary fertility of the land and the wealth of the surrounding sea are the basis of eno-gastronomic tradition which is one of the characteristics of excellence of the place, and is a tempting opportunity for tourists who want to rediscover the taste of tradition. Then not only beaches but also products such as fish roe, mosciame, suppizzata, bacon, local produce like tomatoes, cantaloupe, Nero d'Avola, and tasty ice. Marzamemi is also known in the ancient valley, the cradle of Sicilian Baroque, the highest of which are admirable examples of Noto, Modica and Ragusa, easily reachable by car in less than an hour.
