This sunny waterside apartment at the Marines de Cogolin and just two miles from St Tropez, is an ideal base for exploring some of the prettiest perched villages of the South of France as well as the Cote d'Azur from St Tropez to Monaco. With the famous Port Grimaud on it's doorstep, many beaches including Pampalonne, you don't need to travel far. Relax, sunbathe, swim or shop and eat!, you don't need to move off the Marina.
There is a sandy beach with sailing school, private tennis courts and swimming pool with small refreshments and a good selection of bars and restaurants for al fresco dining. The marina is kept in immaculate order, is private and services boat hire, chandelry and tuition. This second floor apartment, has a comfortable lounge with balcony overlooking the sea, a well equipped kitchen and is surrounded by well-kept Provencal gardens. There is a bathroom with shower and separate WC, good sized double bedroom with balcony overlooking Port Grimaud.
The Cote d'Azur / Provence / Var region: The apartment is in the Department of the Var which is still a very unspoilt area of the Cote d'Azur. It has sunshine for most of the year and the apartment is available year round. Although quiet during the winter months, it is very pleasant and we offer discounted winter rates. Spring and Summer months are hot and sunny with temperatures often reaching 32 degrees C. There are many lovely perched hill villages in the area and in the summer months many Festivals and Fetes. The beaches are sandy and easily accessible and there are endless water sports, fishing, sailing, diving, snorkeling to name just a few. Eating out of doors and enjoying the good local wines are another of the pleasures of this lovely area.
The Marina: The Marina was built over 25 years ago and has now matured and is beautifully maintained. The gardens are a delight and the Marina is a hive of activity for serious boating people. The surrounding Maures mountain range give a stunning backdrop to this waterside village.
There is a patisserie, many restaurants, cafe, shops in the marina. The heated pool overlooking the marina(recently updated) is a stone's throw away and only used by residents. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and has bars and sports as do the beaches in Port Grimaud a 20 minute stroll away. Here the bustling main square 'Place du Marche' has restaurants, cafes, shops and a market (Sunday & Thursday).
One can explore by foot or by boat, cycle all the locality has to offer and by car the rest of the Cote d'Azur awaits!
The Apartment: The apartment is situated on the second floor with secure access. From the balcony there are fantastic views along the fairway to the Bay of St Tropez, you can either relax in sun loungers enjoying the view or eat in true Mediterranean style under the sunshade.
We use the apartment ourselves frequently so it is fully equipped with a good selection of services, crockery and utensils. and furnished as our second home so is very welcoming.
There is ample parking outside the entrance to the apartments and because the Marina is gated from 8.00 p.m. - 8.00 a.m. the site is secure.

Please note that swimming pool is usually open from mid-June to the end of October, subject to a small entry fee (approx 3 Euros per person per half-day). Swimming passes can be purchased for half-day, day, week, month or more for a discount.
