This sunny waterside apartment at the Marines de Cogolin and just a few KM from St Tropez, is an ideal base for exploring some of the prettiest perched villages of the South of France as well as the Cote d'Azur from St Tropez to Monaco. With the famous Port Grimaud on it's doorstep, many beaches including Pampalonne, you don't need to travel far. Relax, sunbathe, swim or shop and eat!, you don't need to move off the Marina.

There is a sandy beach with sailing school, private tennis courts and swimming pool with small refreshments and a good selection of bars and restaurants for al fresco dining. The marina is kept in immaculate order, is private and services boat hire, chandelry and tuition. This second floor apartment, has a comfortable lounge with balcony overlooking the sea, a well equipped kitchen and is surrounded by well-kept Provencal gardens. There is a bathroom with shower and separate WC, good sized double bedroom with balcony overlooking Port Grimaud.

The Cote d'Azur / Provence / Var region:

The apartment is in the Department of the Var which is still a very unspoilt area of the Cote d'Azur. It has sunshine for most of the year and the apartment is available year round. Although quiet during the winter months, it is very pleasant and we offer discounted winter rates. Spring and Summer months are hot and sunny with temperatures often reaching 32 degrees C. There are many lovely perched hill villages in the area and in the summer months many Festivals and Fetes. The beaches are sandy and easily accessible and there are endless water sports, fishing, sailing, diving, snorkeling to name just a few. Eating out of doors and enjoying the good local wines are another of the pleasures of this lovely area.

The Marina:

The Marina was built over 25 years ago and has now matured and is beautifully maintained. The gardens are a delight and the Marina is a hive of activity for serious boating people. The surrounding Maures mountain range give a stunning backdrop to this waterside village.

There is a patisserie, many restaurants, cafe, shops in the marina. The pool overlooking the marina(recently updated) is a stone's throw away and only used by residents. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and has bars and sports as do the beaches in Port Grimaud a 20 minute stroll away. Here the bustling main square 'Place du Marche' has restaurants, cafes, shops and a market (Sunday & Thursday).

One can explore by foot or by boat, cycle all the locality has to offer and by car the rest of the Cote d'Azur awaits!

The Apartment:

The apartment is situated on the second floor with secure access. From the balcony there are fantastic views along the fairway to the Bay of St Tropez, you can either relax in sun loungers enjoying the view or eat in true Mediterranean style under the sunshade.

We use the apartment ourselves frequently so it is fully equipped with a good selection of services, crockery and utensils. and furnished as our second home so is very welcoming.

There is ample parking both outside the entrance to the apartments and elsewhere on site. The Marina is gated and the site is secure.

A welcome Guide is provided in the apartment. English-speaking representative available by telephone to answer any questions.

Please note that swimming pool is usually open from mid-June to the end of October, subject to a small entry fee (a few Euros per person per half-day). Swimming passes can be purchased for half-day, day, week, month or more for a discount.

Due of our inquisitive minds we decided to pay a visit to the South of France because we had not been there before. We are so pleased that we chose this apartment for our first excursion there.

The apartment was so clean, comfortable and more than fully equipped for our stay. We did most of own catering and my wife found it no effort at all to prepare our meals, which we then transferred to the balcony to enjoy those wonderful views of the harbour, along with a bottle of satisfying red wine. It cannot be overstated how pleasant the views from the balcony really are.

There were many highlights to reflect upon, too many to mention all of them here. However, high on the list were St Tropez (harbour, bars and market), Sainte Maxime and best of all (according to my wife) Port Grimaud. Since we were only there for a week many venues were not visited and, therefore, we plan to return again next year in order to complete unfinished business. Really a week is not enough time to fully appreciate this beautiful location.

It was a pleasure to visit this lovely apartment and many thanks to the owners and their local team, who were very helpful. Again, many thanks.

Idealer und entspannter Urlaub an der Cote d`Azur

Bilder und Beschreibung der Wohnung trafen genau unsere Erwartung! Saubere und ruhige Oase an der im Sommer gut besuchten Bucht. Im Appartment fehlte es an Nichts!!!! Anfängliche Bedenken , Sonne heizt die Wohnung zu stark auf, traf nicht zu. Wir hatten Tags bis zu 35 Grad , trotzdem Nachts angenehmes Schlafklima auch Dank der guten Belüftung der Räume. Sehr gute Betreuung per Email durch Andrea Burdick. Alles reibungslos!!! Tipp zum Schluss: Unbedingt Fahrräder mitnehmen oder leihen, da die ganze Bucht mit Fahrradwegen erschlossen ist ( im Sommer schneller als dasAuto). Fazit: Wir können die Wohnung nur empfehlen und würden immer sehr gerne wiederkommen !!! Gruss aus Deutschland !!!!!

German to English translation Gerd and Andrea from Wolfhagen. Ideal and relaxed vacation at the Cote D `Azur!!!! Pictures and description of the dwelling met exactly our expectation! Clean and calm oasis at the bay visited well in the summer. In the Appartment it was missing at nothing!!!! The dwelling heats, did not apply initial doubts, sun too strongly not. We had tags up to 35 degrees, nevertheless at night pleasant sleep climate also thanks of the good ventilation of the areas. Very good support by email by Andrea Burdick. Everything smoothly!!! Hint in the end: Absolutely carry forward or borrow bicycles, since the whole bay with cycle tracks is opened (in the summer faster than those car). Result: We can only recommend the dwelling and always very gladly would come back!!! Greeting from Germany!!!!!

Wir haben in der Fewo einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Alles ist sauber und sehr gut eingerichtet. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist einfach super und besonders nachts unglaublich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und bedanken uns herzlich.

In English: We have spent a wonderful holiday in the apartments. Everything is clean and very well furnished. The view from the balcony is just great and amazing especially at night. We felt very well and thank you.

We had such a relaxing time in Marines De Cogolin

I spent a week in this great apartment which was not long enough as we both wish we had stayed a little longer. It was February of course but the marina is so calm and relaxing and the local area is very beautiful.

The apartment has heaters which we used at night and everything we needed, it was a home from home. The owner is very easy to communicate with and most helpful. Great value, comfortable and has a way of growing on you each day. The south facing balcony is difficult to leave.

Yes February is the coldest month typically in my experience and it does warrant some heating. Having said that I know where I'd rather be given the choice between my home in UK and the South of France in February :)

As it says 'Delightful sunny waterside apartment' - I became enchanted with the views and people watching on the balcony. Yes the apartment is everything it says and for the price, great value. The location is great but there's just something about that balcony :) - had a restful week with pleasant weather away and hope to return. Suggested improvements? perhaps some more games/entertainment for those longer spring nights out of season-but I managed with a few bottles of wine!

The balcony is my favourite 'room' I have to say. I have on occasion been tempted to sleep out there in a hammock!

Fabulous holiday apartment in ideal location!

We had a fabulous holiday in The South of France. The apartment in which we stayed was in a fabulous location, walking distance to many shops and restaurants. There is a pool located minutes away and the beach is simply a ten minute walk. We spent a lot of time in the apartment as the views from the balcony of the marina were fabulous. The apartment was very clean, it had a fully equipped kitchen including a washing machine. We will definitely be returning to this apartment again and I will be recommending it to friends.

The apartment is in the Var which is an unspoilt area of the Cote d'Azur. Lovely perched hill villages and Markets, Festivals and Fetes abound. The beaches are sandy and safe with endless water sports, fishing, sailing, diving, snorkeling, riding and more. The famous St. Tropez market is a must and you can 'people watch and celebrity spot' whilst sitting at one of the many port side cafes or brasseries. There is the Nualage or big ships race in October, the Bravades, Cannes, Nice, the famous 'Corniches' and Monaco Grand Prix in May, all just 1 hour away, and many summer Festivals. The Chestnut Fair is celebrated in La Garde Freinet in October whilst Christmas in St. Tropez is a delight with the silver lights threaded through the plane trees in the Place des Lices. Nearby Cogolin, Ste. Maxime, La Croix Valmer and Gassin or as far as Eze or Italy are within reach by car or boat. The marine is quiet neighbour to the famous Port Grimaud - the 'Venice of France' , worth a visit.

Prices apply to date of arrival and fully inclusive for two people. Additional people at owner's discretion and additional charge.

Linen and towels are provided. Please bring your own towels for beach/pool use. We can provide details of hiring for any additional equipment as required.

Guests are respectfully asked to leave the apartment in good clean condition as they would expect to find it. Supplementary cleaning on departure can be arranged. If property not left in good condition, costs for any cleaning required may be deducted from deposit.

Prices are based on 2 people. Booking secured upon receipt of booking confirmation from owner. Security deposit will be refunded within ten days(subject to satisfactory property inspection). Note that with respect, we will not be held responsible for banking fees or currency adjustments due to tenants choice of currency or bank location on security fee repayment.

All payment in EUR. We do not accept payments or make repayments in other currencies. All fees to be agreed and paid direct to owners on booking. No monies will be required to be paid onsite at any time. Keyholder will not be required to manage money in mutual interest.

Arrival time is 4 pm on changeover day and tenants are respectfully expected to vacate in a clean condition by 11 am on departure day. Any departure from these times is subject to arrangement between tenant and key holder and may be subject to additional fees to cover inconvenience. Such fees may be deducted from damage deposit for convenience.

Please note that apartment is on the second floor which means good views but there is no lift so if you are unable to climb two sets of stairs (30 steps in total) then this may not be the view for you!
