La Vieille Ferme is a charming 17th century detached farm house renovated to a very high standard. On the ground floor is a large entrance hall leading to a spacious twin bedroom. There is a bathroom and seperate WC just across the hallway making this bedroom ideal for people who find stairs a bit of a challenge. The hallway leads to a fully equipped fitted kitchen with a large farmhouse style table and chairs for six people. A stable door leads to the patio and garden. Off the kitchen is a cosy lounge with wood burner, satellite UK TV, DVD and CD players. The garage/utility room with full laundry facilities is accessible from the hallway. A wooden staircase leads to a landing off which are 2 large double bedrooms with one en-suite. The rear secure garden has a large patio with built in BBQ, garden furniture and off road parking. The house is furnished to a very high standard and benefits from full central heating . A cot, high chair and push chair are available on request.

La Vieille Ferme is situated in the quite village of Parcay les Pins which is the birth place of sculptor Jules Desbois. About 10 mins drive away you can find swimming pools and lakes offering various water sports and activities there are also walking and cycling activities in the nearby woods. Parcay is close to all major Loire Chateaux, also the towns of Saumur the home of French cavalry, Tours, Langais and Bourgueil with their tourist attractions and markets. Wine tasting is close at hand in the local appellations of Bourgueil and St Nicolas de Bourgueil. There are many fine restaurants in the nearby towns and villages with cuisine to suite all tastes. For those who wish to travel a little further Limoges (ceramics), Poitiers (Futurescope) Saint Nazaire and the Atlantic coast are all viable day trips. Airports are situated at Tours and Angers both 40 mins away, the TGV is accessable at both Saumur and Tours, motorway access is provided from the ferry port of Le Havre by the A28.
