Situated 10km away from the cliffs of Amalfi along hairpin bends overlooking spectacular views, Furore - an unspoiled village of scattered houses right above the Amalfi drive cliffs - is the alternative to the well-known seaside resorts of the Amalfi Coast. It represents a rural escape, not yet discovered by mass tourism and offers breathtaking views, typical craftsmanship and beautiful walking itineraries.
The terraced vineyards that produce the 'Furore doc' wine drop precipitously to the sea forming an impenetrable, deep rocky gorge, one of the most impressive natural features along this coastline. There are several churches, chapels and ancient ruins
