This 3 bedroom prestigious home is on one level with open plan kitchen and breakfast room overlooking the private swimming pool. There is a beautiful formal dining room and large lounge with 42 in. plasma cable TV/DVD and Bose stereo surround system. Wireless Internet is also available. The master bedroom has King sized bed, TV, DVD and en-suite bathroom. The Queen Bedroom includes TV, DVD and there is also a guest bedroom, containing 2 Day Beds which convert to sleep an extra 2 if needed. No 'WOW' factor

This property was not 'luxurious' or modern by any standard, it was tired and dated. There was no tennis court or heated pool? Don't be fooled by the picture of the boat either, this must have been taken several years ago.
We had to wash the bed linen and towels on arrival as they were far from fresh. The hot tub was green and definitely not inviting. God knows when the water was last changed. When I queried with the owner they informed me that the tub was serviced a 'week' prior to our arrival, surely when a guest is arriving it should be checked and the filter switched on the day before.
The customer service was great before we went, but when I e'mailed on return it took 10 days to get a reply and no apology in sight. We asked for a refund on the hot tub as we could not use it, but were told no.
I would certainly not return to this property or recommend to anyone.

Fantastic house in a great location. Quiet and very peacful just what you need after a gruelling theme park two weeks. The owners sent lots of information before we left regarding the local restaurants, beaches directions etc and also phoned once we had arrived to make sure we were settled. We fished from the jetty at the back of the house swam in the pool and waved and siad 'Hi' to the passing boats. What a great way to end your holiday.

Great Florida Home

We had a lovely time at this property during March (3 weeks). It is in a very pleasant spot, on the waterfront with lots of wildlife around. The house is extremely well equipped with everything you could need for a very comfortable stay and is well placed for restaurants and shops.

We would certainly recommend it as a delightful holiday destination.

great winter and new year break

Our two weeks were over the christmas and new year period.
Although it was quiet we had a wonderfull relaxing time.We had good days out and found everything we needed was not too far away.There was a huge selection of eateries on hand if you didn't feel like cooking The villa was well maintained and felt very homely.
We hired the boat for the 2 weeks we were there, and have to say we had such an amazing xmas day out on the boat visiting the islands and seeing the dolphins...wonderfull. Thought the holiday couldn't get any better but on new years day morning I woke and looked out on the waterfront and hey presto...Dolphins swimming past. loved our time here and will definatley be coming back. Steve and Jayne were really helpfull with any enquiries we had.

Restful villa stay at New Port Richey

We arrived in Tampa to hot sunshine and were soon on our way with a hire car. We missed both 'left-hand-exits' - explained carefully by the owner - largely because left hand turns on motorways are an alien concept! Still our (essential) sat nav found the way.

The house is large, detached and well-placed beside the canal. The villa was clean and well-equipped. The pool, the hot-tub and just lazing about were the order of the day. The neighbours are friendly, as is the pool boy! We had one small problem which was quickly and efficiently sorted out - on a Sunday - by the owner (email) and the managing agent.

This is a very non-touristy area, so on the US19 you will find McDonald's, Burger King and other chains selling fast food. Also supermarkets and chemists are plentiful there. We found you need to go south to Tarpon Springs (try the Tarpon Turbot) for more special nights out.

We went to the Kennedy Space Centre which took 3+ hours each way. We passed Orlando and the theme parks on the way! Kennedy really interesting for older kids - do try the new 'Shuttle Experience'. Less worth a visit is the Tampa Aquarium which had the shark and octopus tanks closed when we visited - and no reduction in the ticket price! Certainly there are better aquariums to visit elsewhere. We visited the local beach and Hudson beach, both of which were ok, but we preferred 'lounging' at the villa.

In all, a relaxing first trip to Florida and we would recommend the villa to others.
