We offer 18 apartments, sized between 20-60 square meter. Sleeping from 1-6 people. Total amount of beds available numbers at 60.
7 of the apartments have a terrace facing the sea and fjord.
Each apartment offer en suite facilities, private bathroom/shower and kitchenette. Open living room plan with a living room and a fully furnished kitchen, including fridge with a small freezer.

The location: The pearl, Modalen, which is known for its incredible big nature is situated North East of Bergen, roughly 1 hour's drive away from Bergen.
The local area : Mobryggja, a breathtaking view, as it stands right on the waterfront where the fjord ends and the deep valleys begin.The valleys are framed by impressive mountains and numerous waterfalls. The hillsides and forests are stored with treasures like wild berries, mushrooms, rivers and lakes. Not to mention a rich wildlife you just might be lucky enough to catch sight of - just like a fairy tale!
Mobryggja Restaurant and gallery: Mobryggja is run by an Icelandic couple, Egill Kristjansson chef and wife Gudbjorg Vilhjalmsdottir hotel manager and a designer. The restaurant is known with good quality food, beautiful art-work, many interesting books for guests to read and a cosy atmosphere. You will also find a gallery and a small design boutique with Icelandic design.

Modalen is a municipality in the county of Hordaland, Norway. Modalen was separated from Hosanger on 1 January 1910. The middle part of Eksingedalen was transferred from Modalen to Vaksdal on 1 January 1964.
It borders to the north towards Høyanger, in the east to Vik, in the south against Vaksdal and in the west to Lindas and Masfjorden.
Modalen is the second smallest municipality in terms of number of inhabitants, Utsira has fewer. The municipality has large income from hydro power and is also a major exporter of sand from the sandy roofs in the valley.
