Bansko is nestled in the beautiful Pirin mountains at an elevation of 1000m guaranteeing the best skiing available in Bulgaria. The apartment is in the Glazne quarter, conveniently located near many of the towns finest Mehanas (restaurants). Bansko's historic old-town is a short walk away with it's atmospheric narrow streets. Also near-by is one of Bansko's largest supermarkets meaning you never have far to go to stock up on those essential snacks after a day in the mountains. A shuttle bus takes the complex residents to and from the modern gondola on request, but if you prefer, a leisurely stroll along the river will bring you to the bottom of the ski lift after a short while.
The ski area equates to 75 km of groomed runs, and snow cannons are arranged along many of these. The resort has a good mix of easy, moderate and advanced pistes so that all standards are catered for. There is a ski nursery too.
