The apartment consists of a kitchen / dining area, a lounge with balcony, a double bedroom with balcony, a bathroom & a private roof terrace with sun loungers, table & chairs & sofa.

The kitchen is equipment with a 4 ring hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, large fridge / freezer, sink and washing machine. There is cutlery & crockery for 4 people & pots & pans. There is a dining table & 4 chairs.

The lounge has a TV with USB & HDMI inputs, DVD player & satellite receiver, L shaped sofa bed (sheets & quilt provided), coffee table & large rug & is air-conditioned with a remote control unit. A balcony from the lounge overlooks the pool.

The bathroom has toilet, sink & bath with shower. Two sets of hand & bath towels are provided.

The air-conditioned bedroom has a double bed with quilt & bed linen, a dresser unit, wardrobe with hanging & folding space. There is a balcony from the bedroom overlooking the rear of the complex.

We live in Leicestershire, UK & enjoy travelling & holidays in sunny locations & kept going back to Sharm El Sheikh, year after year because of the year round sun, snorkelling & diving. We originally bought a property in Sharm in 2008 but bought this property off our friends in 2011 & we use it as a holiday home for ourselves as well as renting it to help cover the costs!

The great thing out this property is it is located within easy walking distance of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars & the beach unlike some properties in Sharm which are 'in the middle of nowhere'. Our favourite things are the large private roof terrace & large pool which you have to yourself most of the time. Nabq Bay is a very up & coming area & is very laid back & relaxed compared to Naama Bay. There are a good selection of restaurants & bars & a nice beach walkway.

Sitting on the roof terrace either by day soaking up the sun on the sun loungers or by night having a BBQ & bottle of wine this is a special place. You have the mountains one way & the sea the other & you can look out over the large pool.

We talk to so many people who go to Sharm & love the place but end up in crowded hotels having bland all inclusive food. We like to relax in our own space & do things at our own pace. We like to walk to the local restaurants or maybe pop to the local supermarket for some fresh seafood to put on the BBQ on the roof terrace & enjoy this washed down with some local wine.

The apartment itself is well furnished & comfortable & air-conditioned.

We try to provide everything that you'd need on holiday in addition to the usual essentials of cutlery, crockery, kitchenware, bedding & towels, etc. we provide that bit more. Pool / beach towels, a good selection of books, pack or cards, phrasebook, ice bucket for the wine, satellite TV.

Wonderful Stay

Cozy apartment, nicely located in Nabq Bay.
The owner was very helpful all the way and I was met at the airport by Amy, thank you :-).
The apartment was nice and clean and close to several supermarkets, hotels with pools and of course the beach. The three balconies was wonderful. The kitchen was fully equipped and I had a living room with tv and dvd, so what more do you need...
It was a quiet area, but some music from some distanced bars, nothing that disturbed me much.

The local English pub, Union Jack, was a nice experience with lovely friendly staff.

I will be back :-)

Good Value Apartment

This self catering apartment is good value. It is one-bedroomed with a separate lounge/kitchen with TV which includes some US/UK channels with news and films - no mainstream UK channels. We hired portable WIFI (£3/day) which was 100% reliable all arranged by Lee who owns the apartment. We were picked up from the airport as arranged and all went smoothly. There is a private roof terrace which I imagine is boiling in Summer but there will be more of a breeze up there. In January you will be warmer by the pool.
Some people would be terrified at the thought of self-catering in Sharm, but the only hassle is from the shopkeepers who will literally cross the road to get to you, so just hail one of the local taxis or better still the little blue private minibuses for 1 egyptian pound (10p) to get to where you are going. Just shout STOP when you want to get off. Its an experience but funny. The locals working in bars are very friendly and we spent most evenings in the Union Jack pub just outside the complex. We also eat there during the day and several evenings. We also went to the Three Crowns which has a more varied menu (the Vindaloo was superb as were the fillet steaks) and twice went to Peking restaurant down the road. The pool at the apartment is huge, very clean, but very cold in January. An English couple we met said its nice and warm by mid-April. If you want peace and quiet during the day then this is the place for you - there is literally nobody around the huge pool at all. The weather was superb - 30 centigrade every day but you lose the sun by 4.30 pm, my advice would be to get up earlier than normal on holiday - Egypt needs to be 4 hours ahead of GMT not 2 hours in my opinion. When they say 'partly cloudy' on the forecast, that equates to aeroplane trails in the sky - the weather is far more reliable than say Tenerife at this time of year.
Sharm is struggling at the mo as people are not travelling to Egypt, and the vast majority who do travel never leave their All-inc hotels which is a shame, but there is absolutely no trouble here at all. The area needs some TLC as a whole, apart from Soho Square which is worth a visit, but the weather makes up for that. Oh and the snorkelling is amazing, I cannot do it justice with words, just go and do it!!

Great apartment in a great location

We spent a very enjoyable month at this apartment. It was very clean and had a very comprehensive inventory, the owner obviously puts a lot of effort into making sure his guests are well looked after. There was a guest folder with lots of helpful information and a book with previous guests comments and tips. The location in Nabq, Sharm is perfect with plenty of restaurants and bars and a brilliant supermarket right on the doorstep. The pool area is kept immaculate and we were able to use the facilities of the hotel next door where they had great pool slides. We were also allowed to use the wifi free. The TV had several English speaking film channels. The only problem we had was the time went too fast!

Fantastic apartment - great 3 week stay

This apartment is truly very good value and I recommend it to everybody who wants to spend a nice, quiet, relaxing holiday in Sharm.

I stayed here for three weeks (end of Oct- Nov 2013) as a solo female traveler. Communication with Lee, the owner, is very easy. Any information I requested before booking was responded to very quickly and precisely. All bookings are confirmed immediately.

The pre-arranged pickup at the airport by Brian is great. It saves a lot of time and trouble haggling with the local taxi men to agree a price. Brian is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He responds to any calls or texts immediately.

I have stayed in a variety of apartments all across Sharm over the last few years, and can honestly say that this is the nicest one I have had the pleasure of staying in. The apartment is a very spacious one bed roomed furnished to a very high standard and is fully equipped with everything you can possibly need for a relaxing holiday. There is no need to bring towels as there is a large variety of different size beach and bath towels provided.

The private roof terrace is a fantastic selling point for this apartment. It is a sun worshiper’s paradise during the day and a great place to relax and chill of an evening. The terrace has fantastic views of the mountains (great for getting some lovely sun set pictures), the sea and the whole of Nabq. The terrace is fully furnished with large padded mattresses on the sun beds, along with table and chairs and a sofa.

The complex is lovely and clean and the gardens are immaculate. The pool area is often very quiet and sometimes you are the only person in the water. The pool was cleaned every day I was there.

The apartment is in a great location, there is a little supermarket, pharmacy, English Pub and some gift shops at the front of the complex. The main supermarkets are only a short walk or local bus ride away.

By the end of my stay it felt home from home. I’m looking forward to returning in March 2014 and again in the summer time.

I would recommend this apartment to anyone.

A great 5 days in the sun!

Spent 5 days here in November and had a really good time. Apartment was bright, clean and tidy with everything you would hope to find (including a new flat screen LCD with HDMI). Roof terrace was a sunbathers paradise and had a nice breeze and comfy sun loungers.

Complex is large with an amazing pool which wasnt too cold either which is the norm for most pools in Sharm in November. We seemed to be the only ones in the pool most of the time which was another plus point (low numbers due to unrest but visitor numbers are picking up now).

Union Jack bar is at the complex entrance as are a few mini-markets. Food was mediocre at best (all meat overcooked) but very good prices, Also has live sky sports.

Location is within walking distance of nightlife / restaurants but you may need a taxi home due to the large food portions!

Local beach is about a 10 minute walk (although took us 30 as we didnt know which way to go initially).

We would definitely rent the apartment again if we visit this part of Sharm again.

The property is well situated with shops, bars and restaurants nearby. There is a great supermarket 'Metro' a short walk away where you can stock up and they'll even deliver your shopping for you. As well as restaurant / bar on site there are plenty of restaurants in Nabq Bay within a short walk. There is the Jasmine Centre area with local restaurants and show. In the “Al Khan” area of Nabq Bay there is the Peking Restaurant & Onions Restaurant both of which are very good (Onions – Lobster Thermidor for about £15 – small lobster but great value!) and just past this is La Strada Mall. At Al Khan / La Strada there are a selection of local bars & restaurants as well as well know international brands such as McDonald’s, KFC, TGI Friday, Burger King & Starbucks. Peking, Onions & many of these restaurants do take away / home delivery & there are a variety of menus with phone numbers in the apartment.

It is worth a taxi ride to Naama Bay for a lively night out with an abundance of bars, restaurants & clubs. It is also worth a taxi ride to Soho Square where there is a good selection of upmarket bars, restaurants & shops. There's even an ice rink & ice bar!
