5 bedroom chalet that sleeps 12 people. Outdoor pool for the summer months

Chalet Fleur des Alps is a very spacious ski chalet offering accommodation for up to 12 people. It is perfect for a couple of families sharing as the bedrooms are split into 2 wings giving each family privacy.

On the ground floor of the chalet, there is a large living room with floor to ceiling windows opening out onto the deck. There are plenty of comfy sofas for relaxing in after a hard day on the slopes, plus TV with SKY TV, DVD player and a library of DVDs.

The separate dining room is located adjacent to the kitchen, which is fully equipped with cooker, hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer.

There is a ski room in the basement for storing skis, boots and for drying any wet gear. The washing machine and tumble dryer are also located here.

Walking: The Portes du Soleil area offers walkers many possibilities. There are numerous walking trails in the area for all levels of fitness. You can also make use of the network of 24 ski lifts during the peak summer months to avoid the worst of the climbs!

Biking: Morzine and the Portes du Soleil offers some of the best mountain biking in Europe. The area has over 380km of marked trails & 10 downhill tracks which are served by 24 chair lifts. There is something for all level of ability including bike parks, single track and cross country.

Morzine was host again in 2010 to one of the stages of the Tour de France. It is an excellent base for road bike enthusiasts as it is located close to many famous climbs; Avoriaz, Col de Ramaz and the Col de Joux Plan.

Swimming: The chalet has its own swimming pool which is perfect for cooling off in during the summer months.

There is a large open air swimming pool located in the centre Morzine. It has 3 pools, a water slide, volleyball courts and landscaped gardens ideal for sunbathing and plenty of space for children to play. Currently, an indoor swimming pool is being built which will be ready by winter 2012.

Alternatively there is Lac Montriond, which is a delightful spot for swimming, sunbathing and relaxing. There is also a supervised children pool area open in the summer months.

Chalet Fleur des Alps is located in an enviable position above the village of St Jean d'Aulps, with unrivalled views over the village and the surrounding mountains.

The ski resort of la Grande Terche is just a couple of minutes drive from the chalet. It is perfect for families as is quieter than the main resorts of Morzine and Avoriaz, and has an excellent ski school and crèche. The resort has a couple of bars and restaurants and a little supermarket.

St Jean d'Aulps village is just a couple of minutes down the hill from the chalet and has banks, restaurants, bakery, pub and ski hire shops.

Alternatively the centre and ski-ing in Morzine an easy 10 minutes drive away.

Golf: There is a 9 hole golf course located up in Avoriaz, and an 18 hole course in Les Gets.

There are also championship golf courses in Evian and Chamonix, which are under an hour from the chalet.

Ski: The chalet is located a minutes drive from the ski resort of la Grande Terche which is served by 16 ski lifts and 34km of ski runs. It offers the skier very majestic scenery and is less crowded than other resorts, and therefore does not suffer from long lift queues.

The ski slopes of Morzine are only a 10 minute drive from the chalet, and access to Avoriaz is easily achieved through the Ardent telecabine, which is an easy 15 minute drive. From here you can also access, Chalet, Morgins and the rest of the resorts on the Portes du Soleil ski domain.

Additional information about rental rates

To confirm the booking we require a 30% deposit and the balance is due 6 weeks prior to your arrival in the resort.

You will also be required to pay a refundable security deposit of Euros 400 on arrival. This will be returned after your staying providing the chalet has been left in a reasonable state and there has been no damage to the chalet or breakages.
Notes Rates are for rental of the property on a self catered basis and includes linen, towels and WiFi internet access.
A 30% deposit is required to secure the booking and the balance is due 6 weeks prior to your arrival in the resort.
A security deposit of Euro 400 is required, and will be returned to you after your stay provided that there has been no damage to the chalet or its contents.

  • The sleeping accommodation is split into two wings, which makes it ideal for families sharing as this gives added privacy. The left hand wing is reached via stairs from the dining room. It consists of 2 twin bedrooms and a bathroom (a separate toilet is located downstairs). The right hand wing is reached via stairs from the lounge, and again consists of 2 twin bedrooms and a bathroom with separate toilet. Both bedrooms have doors which open out onto a shared balcony at the rear of the chalet with stunning views of the village. The fifth bedroom/children’s playroom is located in the basement, and has 2 sets of bunk beds sleeping up to 4 people. This room is also equipped with a TV and DVD player and is an ideal room for kids to use as a playroom.

The ski room is located in the basement with plenty of space to store skis & boards, etc., and dry wet kit. Outside the chalet, there is a wooden deck that wraps round two sides of the chalet and a large swimming pool for use in the summer months. There is parking for two cars directly in front of the chalet and an additional space in the communal parking bay.
