Visiting Uzès: One day is barely enough to visit Uzès, a beautiful town dating from the Middle Ages, with its castle owned by the countess of Uzès, its church, the market on Saturday morning and the Pont du Gard bridge, a few km away.
Visiting Nîmes: Gallo-Roman city renowned for its bull ring, the Maison Carrée (Square House), best preserved Roman temple of the Roman period, its old town dating from XVI century with private mansions. You can also visit the fountains where the aqueduct of the Pont du Gard used to bring water, in Roman times.
Visiting the Cévennes: From Anduze, you can go on a one-day trip in the Cevennes towards the Mont Aigoual.
