STANBURY WHARF has much history associated with it, as it stands alongside the now dried up Holsworthy to Bude Canal. Previously used for the storage of sand shipped up the canal from Bude, Stanbury Wharf Barn has been imaginatively converted into two luxuriously appointed holiday cottage's Both cottage's offer spacious, open plan accommodation with modern fitted kitchens including all the appliances & equipment you could wish for, sumptuous leather suites & bright comfortable dining area's, each cottage has its own private garden with furniture & BBQ.

Swallows nest: Being the slightly larger of the two, sleeps up to 8 people plus an infant, consisting of a double bedroom, a twin bedroom & a large family bedroom with a double & two single beds, an upstairs bathroom & a downstairs shower room. HOT TUB NOW ON SWALLOWS NEST DECKING WITH GREAT VIEWS !!!!!! There will be an extra charge of £50.00 per week to use it but this is Optional !!

We have just spent a lovely week at Stanbury Wharf - the accommodation is lovely and the barn was bigger than we expected. The garden is fantastic for children - our 3 children really enjoyed the space, play equipment and of course the chickens and ducks! The hot tub was lovely! Beaches at Bude are only a short drive away and lots of places to visit in the surrounding area.

We have just spent the most utterly perfect christmas at the Stanbury Wharf Barn. The place is stunning, spacious and immaculate with all the ammenities you could possibly ask for. (even my 1 year old was catered for in every way). The setting is perfect with local shops, walks and beaches nearby. Ideal for everyone. Would highly recommend to anyone and we will most definately be returning next year.

Our biggest thanks are to Scot & Sally for making our stay so lovely and being such thoughtful and attentive hosts throughout.

Fantastic accomodation, great location and very clean and modern. Very spacious and great for families and animals,

Great hosts, well worth the money, not the cheapest but you will not be unhappy with this cottage.
