Kaiki (boat) day excursion from Kala Nera to Trikeri

In Pilion you can board the famous old Pilion Train and enjoy a ride of unique beauty. This railway line was constructed in 1895 by the father of the famous painter Giorgio de Chirico.

The house has a unique advantage .

Its location is such ,that in 10 minutes you are on the beaches of Pagasitikos Gulf and in about 30 -45 minutes in the most lovely beaches of Greece ,in the Aegean sea. Beaches of Lambinou,Milopotamos,Fakistra,Xinovrisi(or Potistika) Agioi Saranda etc.

On the way back you can enjoy your meal in the squares of Milies ,Vizitsa or Pinakates.

The beaches in the Gatzea area are at a distance of 10 minutes away from the house.If you like to read under the trees in front of the sea,you can go to 'RIVERA' where you can of course also swim (it is a place for children too). The cost for a drink is 3,5 -5 euros only.

You can relax also on the same spot with a tsipouro or a mohito in your hand watching a most rewarding lovely sunset.

EXPLORING THE WOODS NEARBY Horse riding, having a guide with you,and explore the woods 15 min from the house by foot. (upon request) .

AND FOR THE CHILDREN :

You can reach the woods with the children in 10 min by foot ,where they can play and pick all kind of flowers (Pelion has about 2500 different kinds of plants to be found.Near the wood, there is also a farm and a taverna with small ponies for horse riding (Paliovigla is the name of the place).

When you come back to the house from the beach, the children can continue their water games in a small plastic pool (0,50X2,20X3,20) out in the garden.
