Mayston Mews are a pair of lovely mews town houses set in a small gated development (only 6 houses in total) offering extra security. Each house can accommodate up to 9 people so together they can house up to 18 people.

The houses are finished to a high standard with high quality furnishings throughout. There are 3 double bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. Each house has a large through lounge which has 2 single sofa beds to sleep a further 2 people. There is a further single bed available in the master bedroom.

Mayston Mews Townhouses come fully equipped with all the mod cons you need in your holiday home: dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer, flatscreen TV with Freeview and DVD player in lounge, further TV in master bedroom, gas hob, double oven , microwave and of course, wireless internet,

Outside, each house has a charming town garden. There is a free car parking space inside the gates offering you secure parking in case you bring your car. No parking permit required which is a bonus and a rarity in this part of town.

These are not your standard clinical holiday rentals - furnishings and art have been chosen with love and care so they feel like a home away from home.

This house has recently had a complete new makeover. The work has been completed to a high standard with luxury fittings throughout. All furnishings and furniture have been selected with care to give a stylish finish. The kitchen and shower rooms are new. The house is fully equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There are 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The house sleeps up to 9 people in total. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have king size beds and bedroom 3 has a double bed. There is an additional single bed in the master bedroom. The lounge has 2 single sofa beds to sleep a further 2 people. There is a large through lounge with a dining room. The lounge and the master bedroom have flat screen TV's. There is a parking space which comes with the house and this is behind locked gates to give extra security for your car. The free parking space is a bonus in this part of London if you decide to bring your car with you. There is a town garden with a decked patio

GREAT STAY

I needed a house in London for 3 days, somewhere clean,safe, in a good area and somewhere ideally located for public transport and in this house I got exactly what I wanted, there were 7 of us so we needed 4 bedrooms.It would have cost more than twice the price we paid to get a hotel in london of the same standard. It ws so easy to get into central London from this house that by the second day my 18 year old daughter took off by herself- bus and underground- to see the sights of london and meet up with friends. Couldn't have asked for more and Raj was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks for a great weekend, hope to stay here again and will recommend this house to all my friends.

BEAUTIFUL AND VERY CONVENIENT HOLIDAY HOME!!

WOW!!! What a perfect base for our holiday in London. We had a wonderful week in Greenwich as part of our summer holidays. Greenwich is a great part of London - beautiful, historic and cosy. Much nicer than staying central plus a lot cheaper. The house was exactly as described. Beautiful decor and all bright and clean. We travelled with our 2 teenage children and my elderly parents. It suited us all which is an achievement in itself!
Mayston Mews was very conveniently located - the station is next door with lots of trains into London and also very close to the supermarket. Very handy as we cooked a few times at home.
Raj and Gert were very helpful and patient with all my questions and were super hosts - actually made us feel like their personal guests. I would definitely recommend Mayston Mews to anybody visiting London. Family Biezen from The Netherlands!

ITALIAN TO LONDON

Bella casa, le foto rispondono a ciò che si trova, tenuta bene e al nostro arrivo perfettamente pulita, la posizione per le varie escursioni è strategica, a 100m c'è la stazione dei treni di Westcombe Park dove in giorni feriali è possibile fare un abbonamento settimanale con fototessera (consiglio di portarla da casa) a tutti i mezzi zona 1/3 (praticamente quasi tutta Londra visitabile) da li in 10 minuti si raggiunge la stazione di London Bridge da dove è possibile prendere la metro o altri treni per qualsiasi destinazione, eventualmente per la visita a Windsor va pagata la differenza tra il limite della zona 3 e la destinazione. A 10 minuti di cammino c'è un grande supermercato dove si può fare una buona spesa. La casa si trova a fianco di una tangenziale ma all'interno non si sente assolutamente nessun rumore e si può dormire tranquilli. Da non perdere una visita a Greenwich che si trova a due fermate di treno, bellissima cittadina con un grande parco dove si trova il famoso meridiano e una splendida ex accademia navale visitabile. Noi eravamo in 7 e siamo stati egregiamente, i proprietari sono gentili e disponibili a risolvere eventuali problemi. Ps.Per le spese consiglio una carta ricaricabile dei circuiti piu noti con la quale potrete pagare qualsiasi importo, anche due caffè, evitando cosi di girare con troppi contanti. Consigliata, great

GREAT VACATION HOUSE IN GREENWICH

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely house in Greenwich. The house was
very comfortable and made an ideal base for our family vacation in London.
We took our kids aged 8-13 for a week to London. We have had many city
holidays with the family and always rent a house or apartment - this was one
of the best and certainly excellent value for money in London. The hosts
were very helpful with lots of tips on where to go and how best to get
around.

The house was very convenient for the station and the car parking was very
useful as we drove from Holland. Greenwich is very easy if you drive from
the Tunnel as it's an hour from Folkstone and very easy driving. We didn't
need the car while we were here.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it - we will
definitely stay here on our next trip to London.

GREAT LOCATION, FRIENDLY OWNER, ENJOYABLE STAY

This property is in an excellent location - very close to bus and train connections. In a private gated mews, it also feels safe. The owner was very helpful in giving us information and advice. The house itself was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

The only downsides were:

(a) The pillows, which were foam. I have a preference for feather pillows so went and bought a couple after the first night, and then slept well.

(b) The settees, which were not at all comfortable either for sitting and watching TV or for sleeping on.

Locally, we visited the Royal Observatory and the National Maritime Museum as well as looking around Greenwich - all were great. Plus we rode on the new cable car over the Thames which we all enjoyed.

I'm glad you had a happy holiday in London in our Greenwich holiday home. Thank you for your kind words. We always try to make our houses as comfortable as possible for our guests so appreciate your comments.

Regarding the pillows, I'm afraid we made a deliberate decision to have hollowfibre pillows as they can be washed more easily than feather ones and we believe that in this case, hygiene wins!

Thank you for your feedback regarding the sofas - these are the first comments we've had regarding the sofas. I have invested in mattress toppers to give a better sleeping experience now. Hopefully this helps the situation as we want our guests to be very comfortable in our holiday home.

Hope to see you again in Greenwich - as you seem to have uncovered already, it's a great destination in it's own right and a great base to explore London from.

You can find us in the heart of the newly appointed Royal Borough of Greenwich. This is one of a pair of houses located in the same development (only 1 house apart) so perfect for groups and large families. They are in a fabulous, convenient and secure location...adjacent to Westcombe Park rail station with frequent trains into London (13 minutes to London Bridge) and then a few minutes further takes you to Waterloo (London Eye and Tate Modern) and Charing Cross (for Trafalgar Square, Westminster, Leicester Square, Covent Garden and Buckingham Palace).

It's a 2 minute train ride or a 10 minute walk to historic Royal Greenwich Park - host to the Olympic Equestrian events and the modern Pentathalon. The Park houses Greenwich Royal Observatory, Meridian Line, Queens House and the Maritime Museum. A 20 minute walk brings you into the heart of Old Greenwich Village with it's fantastic art market and numerous historic sites. In particular the stunning Painted Hall and Chapel. Last, but no means least, Greenwich is home to the world famous Cutty Sark - the last tea clipper... This was relaunched in April 2012 after it was severely damaged by fire. From Greenwich, you can take the River Boat into town or the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) into the City.

A huge Sainsbury's superstore is a few minutes walk away. A 10 screen cinema can be found adjacent to the Sainsburys. Numerous restaurants, takeaways and shops can be found lining the main road into Greenwich town centre.

It is a short bus journey to North Greenwich underground station at the O2 arena (formerly known as the Millennium Dome), From here you can hop on the tube into London or even on to the River Bus. The Underground will take you directly to the London Eye, Tate Modern, Westminster, Madame Tussauds and Stratford - home to the Olympic Park. Again there are many restaurants located at the O2. The O2 arena is host to some of the Olympic events such as Gymnastics and Basketball semis and finals. The O2 has become the worlds largest Arena venue hosting music concerts and sporting events.

There is also a direct tube to Westfied Shopping Center - Europe's largest and newest urban Shopping Mall. This is located adjacent to the Olympic Stadium
