Between Camargue and Alpilles, 10 minutes from the city center of Arles, a 60m² haven of peace in a quiet, friendly residential area in the countryside. The cottage with its private terrace with spa is surrounded by an authentic garden surrounded by fig and olive trees.

Séjour Arles Février 2016

Excellent séjour au figuier dans un bel écrin et au calme. l'accueil des propriétaires très apprécié avec de délicates et généreuses attentions; une grande disponibilité et gentillesse. Les confitures confectionnées par Nicole ont régalées nos papilles et les conseils de balades de Jean -Jacques très judicieux. Bref ne pas hésiter à réserver ce gîte. Une bonne bouffée d'air frais!

Nous avons séjourné au Gite du figuier (Mas du Petit Mandon) durant 1 semaine et ce fut merveilleux. Nous arrivions d'un appartement où nous logions à Marseille, pour se retrouver dans sur un grand domaine où il faisait bon de respirer le grand air et ne plus entendre les bruits de la ville! Les parents du propriétaire sont les voisins directs du gîte et ont été d'une gentillesse extraordinaire: accueillants, disponibles et généreux, ils nous ont aidé dans la sélection de nos visites en nous donnant leurs recommandations, que ce soit pour des points d'intérêts à ne pas manquer ou des suggestions de restaurants. Ma petite fille de 5 ans s'est beaucoup amusée à courir sur le vaste terrain (très sécuritaire, car délimité par un mur), se cacher derrières le figuier ou les oliviers et jouer avec Soleil, le chat du voisin. Tous les matins, mon mari allait faire de la course sur les chemins avoisinants, longeant parfois un cours d'eau, des fermes ou des vignobles. Pour ma part, faire un peu de spa me relaxait après nos longues journées de visites. Bref, comme nous sommes Québécois, nous ne savions pas quel endroit privilégier lors de nos recherches de logis en Provence, mais maintenant je peux affirmer que Arles est un endroit de choix, car c'est à proximité de la mer, de la montagne, de la campagne; bref, c'est central!

A Little Piece of Paradise

I stayed here for 2 weeks with my husband and a friend. The cottage was absolutely fabulous. Jean Jacques offered many suggestions to help us have a wonderful time while visiting France. We were sad to leave and hope to return again. We will definitely stay here again. .
