LITTLE COUNTRY HOME WITH PRIVATE POOL AND VIEWS TOWARDS MOUNTAINS

I spent the last week of January in this lovely little cottage. It is beautiful! The interior is well renovated to allow for contemporary convenience and comfort while maintaining some traditional features and lots of character. (It was nice and clean). The owner is nearby to assist with arrival and guidance on local amenities, but is un-intrusive which makes it very private. The mountain view is stunning looking across the valley and onto terraced farmland cut into the side of the mountains. There are many short walking paths, my favourite was the trail from the villa to the local village (just 5 mins) but breathtaking. In January it was cloudy for a few days so the pool didn"t get the best use. This holiday was lovely and much better than resort land on the coast. I would love to stay there again in the spring and summer.

Tres Almendros is an ideal location for a couple who want to get away from the traditional tourist places and visit the authentic and green side of the island. An ideal location for hiking, but close by Las Palmas for a romantic dinner or half an hour to drive to the closest beaches. It has all the comfort one can dream of, a swimming pool, and local shopping and a good restaurant at walking distance. The owner gave us a very warm welcome and surprised us with a bottle of cava, etc. The house is very cosy, nicely decorated and equiped with Internet, satellite TV and everything we would have hoped for.
