Located in a prime yet peaceful location in the popular resort of Playa Blanca, this south facing bungalow is an ideal base for a wonderfully relaxing holiday. Playa Flamingo beach, shops, bars and restaurants along with the town and harbour are all just a few minutes walk away. The local Spar supermarket is also just a couple of minutes walk away so no need to carry your shopping far. Spanish, German and UK TV including BBC, ITV & Channel 4 along with a safety deposit box are at guests disposal. Payment through PayPal now accepted.

Flights: Flights to Arrecife Airport can be sought from many UK airports with the airport itself just over a half hour taxi ride away. Additional Information: A small welcome pack is provided to enable guests to make themselves a drink on arrival. Also a weekly linen change service is provided.

This semi-detatched bungalow was completely renovated in 2008 and includes washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob, walk in shower, TV with UK terrestrial channels - BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, ITV2, ITV4, Channel 4 and E4. RTE1, 2 and 3 are also available for our Irish visitors along with CBBC and CBEEBIES for our younger guests. A small second bedroom has been incorporated which allows the bungalow to comfortably accommodate either 2 or 3 people and a safety deposit box is at guests disposal.

About Chris Harrison

The photo is of our daughter Rachel. We holidayed in Playa Blanca when she was 9 months old and emigrated here 11 months later.

Why Chris Harrison chose Playa Blanca

After searching pretty well the whole of Playa Blanca we came back to the very first property we viewed. The complex has a wonderfully peaceful and friendly feel to it and is perfectly located. We purchased Casa Julia in 2007 and then the adjacent property, Casa Rachel, the following year.

What makes this bungalow unique

We actually lived in Casa Rachel until we simply ran out of room for all of Rachel's toys and equipped it as our own home. Few people use the dishwasher but appreciate that we have tried to provide every home comfort. Living in Playa Blanca enables us to offer a personal touch to our guests and to be on hand if needed.

Playa Blanca itself lies on the southern tip of Lanzarote and is popular with visitors who enjoy the year round climate along with the gentle breeze off the mountains.

Playa Flamingo beach is just a 5 minute walk away, with promenade-fronted cafes and restaurants providing glorious views across to Fuerteventura. The old harbour is also just a 5 minute walk away, which offers guests the opportunity to visit Fuerteventura for the day. Just beyond the old harbour is the old town of Playa Blanca offering numerous shopping and dining options.

Accommodation was as described and owners have thought of and provided all necessities. Clean, well maintained compact apartment in central location - 2 min walk to promenade. Would def recommend this property for couples or those with a young child. We would return to this property when we next holiday in playa blanca.

Excellent value for money

The three best things about this bungalow:
It offers great value for money. Everything is provided for a comfortable stay: All mod cons, such as a washer, a dishwasher and a UK channels on the TV.
It's in a brilliant location; 5 minutes walk away from a large Spar supermarket and a couple of bars (had a couple of great meals in the Irish Anvil). Another 5 minutes walk and you are virtually in the centre of Playa Blanca, yet the bungalow is in a quiet, peaceful complex.
And the last thing, is the wonderful terraced veranda which means you are sheltered at all times from the incoming sea breeze.
Would I visit this bungalow again? Yes definately!

Perfect Holiday

We have never stayed in such well equipped holiday home,it has every thing needed and more.The location is lovely and peaceful but close to all bars,shops etc.
The garden and patio are perfect for a barbecue as in the sun almost all day.The owners are on hand if needed but never obtrusive.We had such a lovely time we hope to return before the end of the year.

Lovely bungalow with absolutely everything you need on hand. TV great meant we could curl up on the sofa - just like home. Chris & Julia - thanks for sorting everything and so nice to meet you both. Can recommend La Gondola on the seafront and Cevantes on the main strip - mixed paella divine. Thanks again.
