About Caroline

I am Caroline. My grand-parents, my parents and I are born in Aix en Provence. I also lived in Montpellier and Paris before coming back to my lovely hometown. My family bought this apartment a long time ago (around 1950'). I am in charge of managing our properties since 2009. We have 4 holidays rental apartments in the heart of Aix and I live close from all of them. It is always a pleasure to welcome and be available for my guests. What makes this apartment unique

This beautiful 30' house has the perfect location. My guests love the quietness of this residential area and the close proximity and walking distance of the Old Town. You can go discover the town, walk to the markets, have a drink on Cours Mirabeau and immediately appreciate this peaceful oasis when you come back. Holidays properties with garden and within walking distance from everything are extremely rare. Do not miss your chance !

  • Discounted rates for long stay
  • The rate includes all taxes and charges, internet access (WIFI) and television with international channels (BBC, CNN...). We provide fresh towels at the start of your stay. On arrival, the beds are already made with clean sheets.

    A damages deposit has to be planned at your arrival. It will be given back at check-out if the apartment is clean and left with no damage.
    For any confirmation of booking, a deposit will be required. The exact amount will be given in the rental agreement. The deposit must be paid by international wire transfer or check that we will keep until arrival.

    Cleaning:
    For a 2-week stay or more, the towels and sheets are changed once a week and the apartment itself is cleaned weekly (free service). Any extra hour because of negligence or poor maintenance will be charged to the tenant (15€/hour).
    For a 1-week stay or less, cleaning service is optional. Please let us know during the reservation process (15€/hour).

We had a warm welcome as well as farewell from the host and hostess. The apartment was recently refurbished and everything was clean and tidy. The apartment felt light and airy because of the large rooms and open spaces. We had all our lunches and dinners out on one of the balconies enjoying the sun. All amenities were there, we did not miss anything. The bathroom was great with two washing basins and a large walk-in shower. It took under 10 min to walk into Cours Mirabeaux and the city centre with all the shopping and restaurants. The bus was only 15 min away and the train station under 10 min away. I can warmly recommend this aparment when you stay in Aix.

Amazing place to stay in Aix !!

Our stay in Aix was absolutely perfect. We loved the Villa Margot. The first floor apartment was spacious, full of light and quiet. Also, it has been renovated in 2012 so it is spotlessly clean, well-equipped, perfectly appointed and so beautifully decorated. It is in a perfect location - only a short walk from the heart of the city, with a fantastic bakery just around the corner - and within easy driving distance from many beautiful areas in Provence. The Villa Margot really was the perfect place for our stay in Aix-en-Provence. Caroline was an excellent host, providing references for all sorts of destinations during our stay. Whenever we had a request, she answered immediately. Highly recommended, and we would definitely return.
