Villa Sol Lake-view Florida pool villa in gated community close to Disney

This was a holiday of a lifetime for us, and this villa did not disappoint. From the start the owners kept us fully informed at every step because I had problems paying with PAYPAL, had to use a cheque in the end and even though everything was finalized close to us leaving we were kept at ease with e-mails. We were even given the address before confirmation of our cheque clearing to apply for the ESTA's.

When we got to Villa Sol, WOW!!! Everything that was promised and more, the house, the endless supply of towels, everything. They supplied bacon, eggs, bread, butter, milk, coffee, tea and sugar for our first day which was much appreciated as we didn't get there until late, saved a shopping trip until we felt ourselves again after such a long flight!

The villa is in a great location and the lakeside location is great. Loved sitting out in the mornings at dust watching the wildlife, even saw a gator! Good distance to all the parks but away enough from the hustle and bustle at the end of the day to wind down.

Had problems the Jacuzzi and pool heating but was promptly fixed and even had e-mail from owners back in the UK keeping us updated on this and they reimbursed us the days we missed. When it was up and running was lovely sitting out in the evening taking the stresses of the day out in the Jacuzzi.

The games room is a brilliant idea, my teenage son loved the pool table, we had many games in the evening after Jacuzzi time!

I better start saving because I would love to come back to Villa Sol!!!

This is the second time in two years we have stayed at this villa. Our family, (husband and I and our three children aged 12, 13 and 13) love this place. It is located around 20-25mins drive from the main parks and is fantastic to come home to and relax after tiring days. Waking up to seeing the sunrise over the lake is beautiful. The accommodation is exceptionally well maintained by both the owners and the property rental management. It is so spacious and even bigger than what the photos look like. The games room and internet went down well with our children and kept them occupied! The pool is a lovely size, the jacuzzi is lovely too and as you look out over the lake, you dont have villas all around you like a lot of estates in Orlando. It is so tranquil. We would recommend this villa to anyone thinking of going to Orlando, if we go back we will certainly be contacting Marilyn again to use her wonderful home. She is so efficient, caring and helpful and goes that extra mile to ensure you have a great holiday. Thank you again for an amazing holiday x

This was our first stay at Villa Sol and the Villa was fantastic. Firstly, the communication with the owner was great and all the information provided was accurate and very helpful. A great location and well appointed, the villa provided everything we needed and more. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. It was very clean and well maintained and felt very homely.
Seeing the sun come up over the lake each morning was beautiful and made up for the jet lag! We saw small Alligator, lots of Turtle, Sandhill Cranes, Heron, Egrets, Swallow-tailed Kites and loads of different types of dragonfly. If you like nature take a walk down the river path at the back of the club house.
We used the BBQ a couple of times and this was great fun. The kids had a brilliant time using our own pool. We did go up to the club house as well and they used the large pool there as well. We also had a knock around on the tennis courts. The games room was also used when we had some afternoon rain. That was when we days off from whizzing around on roller coasters or flying down watersides at water parks. We can highly recommend the new Harry Potter land at Universal.The villa is within easy reach of the Parks and supermarkets.
This villa comes highly recommended by our family group. A great place to chill and relax away from the hectic Park adventures yet within easy reach of everything you would want to do. This was definitely the right choice for us. It made for a superb holiday. 5*****
