1st Arrondissement Louvre Vacation Rental apartment

This studio was the perfect size for our family -- two adults and a four year old -- during our Parisian vacation. The property details are all accurate and the owner was friendly and extremely helpful, providing a detailed map to local grocery stores, shops, and points of interest. He even arranged a taxi pick up for us on our return trip to the airport.

Though the building does have an elevator to the 5th floor, travellers should be aware that there is a tight, narrow stairway that must be navigated to reach the 6th floor apartment. Might be difficult for guests of certain ages or physical conditions, although we had guests in their 60s who ably handled the stairs.

As mentioned in the listing, the studio is minutes away frolm the Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries, the Seine, and a Metro station. The city is incredibly accessible from the studio. You walk out the front door and you're immediately centrally located in Paris.

When enjoying the studio's deck on the 6th Floor, guests have a partial view of the Eiffel Tower in one direction, Montmartre in another direction, and the tops of other various monuments and notable architecture.

Guests may also want to be aware that a slanted ceiling in the bathroom just above the toilet might require a bit of improvisation, but nothing insurmountable.

Overall, this studio was terrific and perfect for what our small family was looking for, particularly on a budget. If we're fortunate enough to return to Paris, we'd definitely return to this apartment as well. Recommended.
