In this stylish gite with charm, design and exceptional sea views, you will enjoy the sea view through the windows, from your bed and even from the shower, and the coming and going of the boats at high tide. At low tide, you can lounge on the sand in the outer harbour, at the foot of the house. Complete renovation in 2011-12, antique furniture and antique sailors’ objects mix with raw materials. New equipment and high degree of comfort. Quiet location. 2 steps away, direct sale from anglers every morning, close to all shops and restaurants, parking in front of the house, free garage and parking nearby.     Stays are per week or fortnight, form Sunday 4 pm to Sunday 10 am. No arrivals on Saturday. In really low season or at the last minute, flexible arrival day, please contact us. During certain periods, fortnight rental only.

    At the last minute (J -15), we accept a 2 night rental for the dates still available (weekend and mid-week packages). The rates for a night are for un maximum of 5 people sleeping in 2 bedrooms.

Shower room 1 is en-suite and open on bedroom 1 (master). This contemporary sober area with grey shades is totally facing the sea with a beautiful view of the outer harbour, the sea and the horizon. Walk-in shower. Bathroom 2 is en-suite to bedroom 2 with a nostalgic style. Ancient hotel washbasin, freestanding tub and yesteryear charm plumbing fixtures. Notes: On the ground floor (courtyard side), you will find an independent room which serves as game room with bar table football and games for children (books, toys, etc.). Beach toys available (prawn net, spades and pails, etc.), garden furniture and deckchairs. Laundry room with washing machine, large capacity tumble dryer and sink. There, you can store bicycles, hiking shoes, golf material, etc. Baby equipment upon request (baby cot, high chair, baby phone...) if available upon booking. By day, a small part of the courtyard shared with the neighbours and south oriented is for you to put a small garden table or deck chairs, for a little moment under the sun, listening to the seagulls and the soft sound of the waves on the hold.

A fantastic house in a sweet village so close to the ocean, its music and its smell!
The house is beautifully decorated with touch of the past along with top moder amenities. All was tight and clean and Laurence, the owner, was lovely and very helpful.
I obviously will recommend the place to all my friends and next time in Normandy, I will certainely go back inspite the inconvinience of too much stairs...
The location is fantastic for trips to the whole area, from Honfleur in the the north to St. Malo and Cancal in the south-west. But you need a car for it.
We used to buy fish and fruit de mer in the dailly fishermen narket just across the quai and enjoy cooking and eating them in the comfortable kitchen in the house.
Don't miss it - it's a real gem!!

We had an absolutely terrific time at Un Bateau sous mon Transat. First, on arriving, we met Laurence at the cottage and she was kind, welcoming and full of useful information about the area. Second, the cottage itself exceeded our expectations in every way. The view was spectacular, the town was utterly charming and quiet away from the tourist hordes yet convenient to all the sites, and the interior decorating was so professionally done we were almost reluctant to bring in our bags to disrupt it. Every room in the cottage was beautifully done yet not overdone,
It is perfect for romantic retreat for a couple, and just as great for a family vacation spot. The tide change was amazing, and our kids loved walking on the exposed ocean floor at low tide. It was hard to leave and we'll be back.
