The property is a new apartment just finished in September 2007, fully furnished with air conditioning, on suite to the master bedroom as well as a family bathroom, with two terraces leading onto the pool. Our pool was the second completed out of seven (1 heated). Our pool is the largest on the complex with a toddler pool and is shared between four blocks of two storey apartments. Our apartment is on the ground floor with the terraces leading onto the pool area which is the best position. Just outside the apartment is a very old olive tree which you can see on the photos. The complex has all the usual facilities, tennis courts completed, with gym and on site shop, cafe, bar just being signed. Even without these the location is really good as it is close to the village of Esentepe, golf course on the other side of the road and is 15 minutes drive from Kyrenia which is a major consideration when deciding location. Kyrenia is a harbour town with an old castle with plenty of place to eat.
Welcome Pack and Special Requirements: When you first arrive on the island, depending on whether you sort out your own transport at the airport or car hire yourself (we can help you), there is the drive to the apartment. We can also help arrange transfers to and from the airport. Depending on flight times sometimes you may arrive at the apartment after shops are shut. We can provide a small welcome pack which includes basic essentials such as milk, butter, bread, cereal, just to get you going in the morning. As well as the small village of Esentepe being nearby, there are many supermarkets and shops in Kyrenia as well as petrol stations and all the things you would expect in the UK. There is an on site supermarket which has most things. Please contact us for further information.
A high chair is available on request but is not provided in the apartment without asking for it.
Internet Access and Broadband: The development has decided to have a business area where internet connections can be made rather than have individual access in each of the apartments. It makes the cost of running such facilities cheaper as not everyone renting an apartment will require it. The intention is to have fax facilities and copier facilities available when required for residents of the complex. Broadband on the island is traditionally by satellite and this will be available in the business centre. We do recommend that either you buy a local Sim card for your mobile, or use a mobile phone whilst on the island, this will help communication with taxi's, tour reps and the complex management team if anything is required.
Situated on the Esenteppe road 15minutes drive out of the harbour town Kyrenia, the complex is situated on the sea side of the road within 500m of the new 21 hole Korenium golf club. It has two smaller beeches on the complex and is next door to Turtle (Alagadi) beech where turtles nest between May and September. It is also 10 minutes from Esenteppe and local shops. There are many historic places to see on the island such as the Bellapaise monastery and the main harbour of Kyrenia town with its historic castle of St Hilarion. There is another castle within driving distance called Buffavento near Esentepe and Kantara castle is a bit further up the Esentepe road. The Karpaz Peninsular has many white sandy beeches. The Roman ruins and amphitheatre at Salamis, the larger cities of Farmagusta and Nicosia are also worth a visit as they are steeped in history. Other activities such as horse riding , water sports and the main golf course in the region are all easily accessible.

Golf: The golf course is literally the other side of the road, and the main entrance is about 300 meters away. Currently there is no footpath along this section of the road so you would still need to drive, and the club house and driving range are a good few hundred meters from the road up a long drive. The driving range facilities are excellent and in the main clubhouse there is a fully equipped gym. Our complex has ordered its own gym equipment which is the same make as the golf clubs'. The greens have been designed professionally and it is the best golf course on this part of the island. Even if you are not too keen on Golf the clubhouse has a really good restaurant and is the closest easting place to our apartment. Further information can be obtained.
