The villa where the studios / apartments are located has been built in Andalusian style. Located in Cerrado de Calderon, one of the best residential areas of Malaga city, at the east of Malaga city with excellent views to the mountains and the sea. It is a quiet area surrounded by pine trees. There are parking places just outside, which is very complicated and expensive in downtown Malaga. 3.5 km from the city historic center. Only 300 m. away there is an area with supermarkets, bars, restaurants, banks, pharmacy and shops. 900 m. away is the beach, Los Baños del Carmen, and 1,300 m. away is the seafront at PEDREGALEJO, area of restaurants and bars where you can sit down on a terrace to enjoy the famous Malaga fried fish and other Mediterranean dishes such as paella, with great views to the bay of Malaga city. Central heating, wifi internet line 24 hours a day. From September to June can be rented for long term.

Hints and Tips: Malaga with its excellent cuisine is considered one of the best gastronomic regions of Spain, in typical Mediterranean and international cuisine. In climate outdoor seating in any terrace is a delight. Located in the heart of the Costa del Sol, connected by train, road and air, is one of the best cities to visit Granada, Cordoba, Seville, Marbella, Ronda, Nerja, and many white villages of the province. Die Ausstattung des Appartment ist gut und auch in der eingebauten Küchenzeile ist alles für Selbstversorger geboten.

The owner operates the facility with a very light touch using a Ryanair pricing model, your towels will be changed once a week (if you ask) and your bed linen once a fortnight, you have to supply all your own needs even down to toilet paper.

The area is nice enough with views of a hill, our main gripe(s); which we agree the owner has little control over, is that it is so noisy. It is next to a school so during term time there is a lot of road noise for the school run plus playtime noise, then from morning through to night-time there is the constant nauseating sound of motorcycles/scooter screaming up and down the roads, it really spoils your enjoyment of the location. Couple this with the domino effect of dogs barking (one dog starts and before you know it every dog in the valley is joining in) and I think there is enough evidence to make a case that the owner should remove the words quiet and romantic from the description.

You are expected to clean the apartment to a high standard on your departure or forfeit $40 of your deposit, so be prepared to lose a day of your holiday to cleaning chores. That aside, the apartment was as described and is well equipped for self catering.

We wouldnt use it on a vacation trip again, but we would probably limit our use of the facility to business trips.

Owner's Response: Mr. Steve M. and his wife arrived on August the 28th. On September the 3rd (6 nights later) I offered them the chance of moving to another apartment with air conditioning, and so they accepted. Of course the new apartment had clean towels, linen and toilet paper. I tell everybody that once a week we provide clean towels but in case they don't receive them they must claim to the cleaning lady. We never denied clean towels nor toilet paper in case someone ask for it, and not in this case. Mr. Steve M. accidentally broke one light switch, and offered me to pay for it.

Probably sometime the motorcycles/scooter screaming up, but never down de roads as the street is one way system only.

Mr. Steve M. says "The area is nice enough with views of a hill, our main gripe".
I can't understand what is bad if the apartment has nice views to the hill. Everybody like it.

Before reserving the apartment We always offer to the renter the chance of getting the deposit back in full upon departure if the apartment is clean and everything o.k. In this case Mr. Steve M. opted for cleaning the apartment, and we refounded the total deposit and charged nothing for the broken light switch.

We hope we gave a good service to Mr. Steve M. and his wife and invite them to come again.

Reasonable quality for a reasonable price

Studio P2. Superb, sunny terrace with shadow in early afternoon. Sufficient chairs and sunbeds. Parasol. Excellent beds. Nice decoration. A vacuum cleaner and some more kitchen utensils and towels would have been great. No elevator, but charming, very Andalusian inside/outside staircase. Perfect service by Juan and his wife: calling a taxi, heating in evening and morning... Bus 33 brings you into the city centre in about 20 minutes.

malaga holiday

we stayed in malaga for a week. juan was very helpful in the run up to our holiday, as well as while we were there. the apartment is in a very safe area, and the weather was fantastic for the duration of our stay. the apartment was very clean, and they offer the option of air conditioning for 60 euro extra. we felt the apartment lacked a few necessities; eg hand soap. also, replenishment of the towels would have been nice. also, the general cleaning materials are very basic. during our stay, one of our sunbeds broke, and juan swiftly replaced it with a brand new one. the apartment is in a very quiet area, and there is not a great lot to do. the nearest restaurants etc down at the beach is a good 10-15 minute walk, luckily we're used to walking disctances like this anyway but our neighbours chose to take the bus service, which as we understand is very reliable and quite cheap. overall, very happy with our stay, but is definitely for a quiet getaway rather than a your typical touristy holiday.

A wonderful Holiday

This house is a wonderful andalusian style building located in a peaceful area. The apartman is fully equipped and tidy. It has an enormous terrace with an amazing mountain scenery. The owner Juan is very kind and helpful. The house is a 15 min. walk from the sea and 45 min. walk from the city center but while walking on the amazing beach it seems shorter. You can reach the apartman by the number 33 and number 4 bus about 15 min. from the city center. Malaga has very much spectacle for example: the Moor fortress (Gibralfaro), a wonderful cathedral and a miraculous tropical park in the middle of the city. It worth to see and rent Juan's aprtman. A notre arrivée, nous avons été agréablement surpris par la beauté du site et l'accueil de Juan. Le studio contient l'équipement nécessaire pour passer un agréable séjour. Juan est soucieux du confort de ses locataires et passe de temps en temps pour voir si tout va bien. Pour profiter au mieux de Malaga (il est assez difficile de se garer dans le centre où se trouvent les principaux sites touristiques et boutiques), nous vous recommandons de louer un scooter, Juan a appelé pour nous l'entreprise de location qui est venue sur place nous faire signer le contrat et nous remettre le scooter. Nous avons passé de superbes vacances, la région est magnifique et les gens très accueillants à tel point que nous pensons y retourner ! Nous vous conseillons vivement cette destination ! The Airport is 14 km. away. You can take a taxi that costs 30 € more or less. By bus until the terminal of the centre, and from the centre bus number 33 to Cerrado de Calderón. The train station, and interurban bus station are 5 km away, and a taxi from the apartment costs about 10 Euros. By your own transport, It depends on where you are coming from. Ask for further information.

To get around the city a Bonobus at a very economical price is the solution.
