Fully equipped kitchen with Fridge Freezer, Oven, Hob, new Nespresso Coffee machine, kettle, toaster, washer dryer.

Large bathroom with shower fitted with designer soaps and shampoo from Molton Brown

2 Hi Definition TVs in the lounge and in the master bedroom, Play Station, Apple TV, Ipod , or course free Wi Fi

2 suede covered Sofa Beds in the lounge and contemporary glass dining table with leather chairs.

High ceilings and lots of light

Bedrooms are at the back of the building so very quiet.

Maddox Street is also one way so relatively quiet and very safe

ENTERTAINMANT: In terms of entertainment you have a brand new PS3 playstation machine for your entertainment and some of the best games around. You have the latest Hi Definition TV's in the master bedroom and in the Lounge, offering over 100 digital channels and an iPod dock music centre for all your music. We have an iPod docking station for your music. You will have full access to internet and Wi-Fi, so Skype will be really easy. We have also made available to you the very latest APPLE TV which allows you to download the latest movies to view at your leisure using your Apple account.

CHAUFFEUR and OLYPICS and SERVICE: You also have access to our private Chauffeur Chris whilst you are in London. He is a real gentleman and by far the best driver we have ever used. Please let us know if you would like him to pick you up from the airport and bring you directly to our apartment.

This apartment is available for the Olympics but please book early .

We offer a weekly clean as part of our service but this can be as regular as you like even daily for an additional fee.

Great London apartment

After spending hours and hours and hours searching on-line for the right accommodations, we finally emailed Solly at Knightly Apartments and received a prompt, informative, and courteous reply. So we highly recommend--in fact we urge you--that you do not waste so much time in the search and just email Solly right now. He is a terrific source of information and seems to anticipate your questions before you can even ask them! And then the apartment itself was wonderful! We were traveling with our three children, ages 7, 9, and 12, and found the apartment to be exactly what we needed--a warm and comfortable haven in the heart of the city with easy access to Oxford Circus underground station and a 10 minute walk to Piccadilly Circus. Restaurants were just around the corner or across Regents Street, shops abounded, and adventure went with us every step of the way! We had a great time in London and the comfort, convenience and ease of our accommodations allowed us to concentrate our time on having fun.

Terrific Maddox apartment rental

I haven't been to London in quite some time so I took a leap of faith and rented an apartment for 3 of us to take a trip; a chef, a bar man and a restauranteur. We were there on business and also to attend the American Football game at Wembley. Being in the service and hospitality industry, it's the first thing that sticks out to me, good or bad when I do anything from fly, to stay in hotels, eat at restaurants, attend games...you get the point, I take it seriously and it means a lot to me. From my first conversation to my last day we were treated graciously, honestly and welcomed with open open arms. Solly and Pina were amazing. They arranged for transportation from Heathrow, no problems at all. Pina greeted us on time, walked us through the property and the made us feel right at home. What a great way to start our trip which so often goes wrong in so many places. The apartment was nice and clean, had above average amenities, a terrific location for shopping, pub crawls and fine dining(all of which we did) and the neighborhood was safe. It alone was all we could ask for on a last minute booking, but it was the hospitality that Solly and Pina showed that will keep us coming back for many years to come.

Amazing Location

We had a wonderful stay in London! The Maddox apartment is in the most phenomenal location. Right in the heart of the shopping district, with easy access to Oxford Circus tube stop and walking distance to Picadilly and Soho. The rental company was on the ball and was extremely helpful with providing any and all information we needed. They helped us arrange airport transportation which was a lifesaver as well. Would definitely love to stay there again!

Location is Spectacular! A little attention to detail and this London Flat could be over the top. We didn't realize that the flat assigned to us had a walk-threw Master Bedroom to get to the Bathroom and the 2nd Bedroom with bunk beds. Thank goodness we are a family and true privacy was not an issue. The pictures were the allure but we found the unit a bit used. The unit is a block away from a tube station and allowed ALL of London to be accessible. Lots to see and shop just walking out the Front Door.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

We stayed at Flat #4, 10 Maddox from March 17, 2012 to March 23, 2012. We are a family of five.

The Good: The location of this flat is excellent – truly central London.
The booking agents referred us to excellent drivers to and from the airport. The drivers were professional, informative, and reliable. On our first day, we locked ourselves out of the flat. We contacted the driver and he made his way back to the flat to help us.

The Bad: The flat is small.
The bedrooms are very crowded, especially if you bring suitcases.
There is no phone or toaster in the flat.
The flat is listed as being on the 4th floor but it’s on the 5th floor.
We noticed several things wrong with the flat on the Saturday we arrived – no heat, no hot water in the shower (about room temperature – just above or just below), no sheets for the futon, no wi-fi, no Apple TV, no PS3.
On Sunday, the booking agents put an Apple TV in the flat, told us where the sheets were stored (under the bed in the master bedroom), and fixed the wi-fi. We declined their offer to “find” us a PlayStation. We realized that the washer/dryer did not seem to be working.
On Monday, they confirmed that the W/D was broken and offered to let us use the W/D on another floor – an awkward arrangement that we tried one day but didn’t really work for us. They said an engineer was in the building and that he would come to take a look at the heater and the hot water. He never showed up on Monday.
I sent an email on Tuesday morning – at that point, we had lived in the flat for 3 days without heat or warm showers. The booking agent said they had asked the engineer to take a look on Monday and they were surprised he had not. He came on Tuesday afternoon and fixed the heat.

The Ugly: The hot water problem was NEVER fixed. When we returned to the US, we got an email from the booking agents admitting that the hot water was broken and that they had ordered a part that would fix the issue. For our “patience,” they offered us a free night’s stay the next time we are in London. We had tepid-to-cold showers for a full week and the booking agents knew about that significant flaw and they never told us or communicated to us about it at all while we were staying there. They never checked in with us after early Tuesday. This is unbelievable and unforgivable.
There are also no visible fire alarms or smoke detectors on the fifth floor. This was concerning and may even be a safety issue.
