Luxury 6 bedroom home is newly-built, well-maintained, immaculately clean and timeless-looking. Set in a beautiful quiet neighborhood with large lots, huge trees and 10 minutes from the beach in Clearwater. This luxury villa, is close to many of the top 10 beaches in the world: Cleawater Beach, Sand Key, Caladisi Island, Honeymoon Island and also Tarpon Spings. Also less than two hours are Florida's top attractions like Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios and Cirque du Soleil, based in Kissimmee, south of Orlando. Jungle Home is a beautiful villa where you will be able to holiday in luxury near the waterfront. The largest room which is a combined living/dining room and kitchen overlooks the well-landscaped jungle outside, as well as the pool. Fabulous gourmet kitchen. Hidden speakers spread music throughout the house and pool area. The home is designed for parties on the ground floor while the children sleep upstairs. Much appreciated by British guests (designer also English).

Nearest Beach: beach at 4.3 Miles

Near ten of the world's best beaches (Clearwater Beach, Honeymoon Island, Sand Key, St. Petersburg, Caladesi Island's Nature Preserve). We are less than 2 hours from the Orlando/Kissimmee attraction area with Disney World, Universal Studioes, Sea World etc. Enjoy Tarpon Springs Sponging Docks and Tarpon Lake, which is terrific for fishing. Shallow beaches in area are very safe for children's swimming. You can rent a boat and race with the dolphins or take a trip on the Pirate ship. Lots of things for the children to see and do. Go to Clearwater Marine Aquarium or Tampa's Adventure Island and Busch Gardens. You can also go to Crystal Springs where the temperature is the same all year round and swim with the manatees. We have many gorgeous wildlife preserves. Go to visit the mangrove trees which have been building the barrier islands around Florida and provide breeding grounds for many of the fish in the area by day; and dine in fine restaurants by night! Great for family reunions!

Additional information about rental rates

  • There is a $200 cleaning fee which means that when you arrive the house will be immaculate and when you leave, you don't have to do any of the work and all the linens will be taken care of and the home will be cleaned. On top of the rental and cleaning fee is a 12% state tax.
    There is also a 100% refundable damage deposit of $2000. We have never had to take anything out of the deposit as each family has always treated this home as their own.
    WE PREFER TO RENT BY THE MONTH AND GIVE EXCELLENT DISCOUNTS FOR THIS. PLEASE INQUIRE.
  • Many other services are available at extra charge including babysitting and massage, Also extra cleaning and laundry can be arranged and any other services imaginable including assistance with business. Just ask and we can arrange this for you.

The children's bathroom has been lightly painted to look like a coral reef. The downstairs bathroom is painted to look like a Florida tropical jungle (which was the inspiration that lead to the home being built in the first place).

We were in the house for 3 weeks with our in-laws! We were able to cook and serve a big feast for 20 in style. I slept on the most comfortable bed I have ever used in my 59 years! We could set the pool temperature to exactly how we liked it. The ambiance of the house is like an Italian Villa, so very relaxing and elegant. Everyone who came to the house (have lots of family here) commented on how beautiful it is. Lots of space for everyone and layed out in a way that everyone has privacy and quiet, as well as a big common space. I just forgot the whole world. It was hard to go home. Thank you for this wonderful holiday.

Wonderful Private Luxurious Retreat from Life!

We stayed at the "Jungle Home" for a family reunion in May, 2007, and had a wonderful time. The home is located in a beautiful and quiet residential neighborhood in Clearwater, and has some nice parks nearby as well as multiple walking and running paths. The home has lots of room, and is well furnished with linens, cooking equipment, nice TV and audio equipment, and a nice office (for those who can't escape work entirely!) The pool is nice, and has both solar heat and a gas heater (which was inoperative when we were there bu was being fixed), and is in a screened enclosure. I'd recommend this home to anyone looking for a very nice and very comfortable place to stay.

Pefect Place for Spring Training

We stayed at The Jungle Home in March 2008 for Spring Training. The home was so luxurious yet friendly! The sheets were just like butter, better than the many five star hotels I love. Claire designed this house and every detail is perfect, from the commercial gas range to the spotlights on reading chairs from beautiful high ceilings. European touches make this home a palace and a work of art. STAY HERE, YOU WILL LOVE IT! The home was restful and quiet. We didn't want to go home because here we lived like royalty!!

What a Vacation!

We were a large family (and extended family) who stayed at the Jungle Home for 2 weeks in March 2008. Our ages ranged from a 10 month old baby, young children and teenagers to several adults. The house was a fabulous getaway for all of us. The kitchen with large countertops was amazing! It was able to accommodate several people doing food preparation and cooking at the same time. The children loved sitting at the stools at the immense centre island to have their meals. The house was elegantly appointed yet practical and comfortable. It was so well designed that sounds from downstairs did not carry up to the bedrooms and it was spacious and bright. The heated pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The house is centrally located to everything in Clearwater and we would highly recommend it to a large family or group for a luxurious vacation.

A Great Holiday!

We stayed at the Jungle House for a month and enjoyed everything at the home itself and surrounding areas of Florida have to offer. If you want a relaxing location, with all conveniences for a large family - then stay here. Separate downstairs areas within the home for our guests were perfect. The property is well managed, in case of questions about the property or local services. My children ask me every day when we're going back !
