South Venice Vacation Rental villa: Manasota Key

Having stayed at Manasota Manor last year we were excited to return this year. Every thing was as we remembered, spotlessly clean and the welcome goody basket was waiting for us on our arrival. You forget how fantastic this part of Florida is with a superb beach only 2 minutes by car, free parking, barbecues and changing facilities which a lot of beaches don`t have. Many days were spent collecting sharks teeth, watching dolphins and spending most nights sitting watching the sunset. We even tried fishing with rods supplied at the villa.. We went to some of the recommended restaurants in Venice which were good value and only a short drive away. Outback steak house is even closer. Because of the location of the villa everything you need is only a few miles away.We will certainly come back and would recommend this villa to anybody.

This beautiful villa was everything we expected and much more. The pictures do not do justice to the property. The villa is furnished and professionally decorated to the standard of a privately owned luxury home rather than a rental property. There is a very comprehensive guide to restaurants, attractions etc in the villa which proved very helpful.

The villa is located perfectly for a walk or drive to the beautifully sandy beaches of Manasota beach. The rear of the property overlooks a bird preserve which is extremely private and relaxing. Watching such an array of wildlife from the pool area was fascinating.

In many years of travelling to Florida this home is truly luxury standard and is most certainly ‘the jewel in the crown’ for us. We are already booked for next year.

This has been our third stay at Manasota Manor and as we have come to expect, was just perfect.
Gareth and Eileen seem to have thought of everything. The accommodation itself is just beautiful and has everything you could need to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Spacious, well equipped, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. While the views from the pool and lanai area of the secluded lake and nature reserve are truly what memories are made of.
The house and local area are great and have everything my family need for a relaxing vacation. My wife and daughter love it all from the privacy of the pool, the convenience of the nearby shops and restaurants and the fabulous sunsets from nearby Manasota beach. My son on the other hand would spend all day every day fishing, either from the inland waterway which is less than a mile from the house, or from Sharkey’s pier in nearby Venice (courtesy of the fishing poles kindly left in the garage by Gareth). When he isn’t fishing he’s swimming in the pool or making good use of the free wireless internet. Me, I am just happy to relax, recharge my batteries, watch my family having the time of their lives, and dream of owning such a fantastic house, even if it is only for two weeks!
Manasota Manor is the perfect holiday rental for anybody who enjoys luxurious accommodation coupled with peace and tranquility without being miles from the real world. If you’ve checked out the pictures on the internet they really don’t do this property justice. Don’t take my word for it, just ask anybody who’s stayed before or better still, try it for yourself. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
