Peacock Studio is a recently converted artist's studio and workshop set in mature woodland on the edge of Romney Marsh in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty that is the habitat of a wide range of woodland birds-from nightingale to nutchatch. It sleeps a maximum of four within the double bedroom and in the living area where there are two 6'4' + 3' beds built under the eaves. There is a shower bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, although you will have to do your own washing up! Garden/BBQ area. Central Heating by means of latest Dimplex technology. Sky package with full sports and movies included. Wireless internet access. Maximum of 4 people with children very welcome. No smoking and sorry no pets. English Tourist Council 4 Star rated.

Retail therapy to be found at Ashford's McArthur Glen Outlet Centre. 12 miles from RSPB Reserve at Dungerness. 15 miles from Canterbury, Rye and Tenterden. Within easy reach of other attractions such as Sissinghurst Castle, Great Dixter and Leeds Castle.

  • Our nightly rates for various Seasons are as follows:
    High Season----- 6 nights at £370, 5 at £320, 4 at £270 and 3 at £240
    Mid Season-------6 nights at £310, 5 at £280, 4 at £230 and 3 at £190
    Low Season------6 nights at £250, 5 at £220, 4 at £190, and 3 at £170
    We ask for 1/3rd deposit on booking with balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival.
    If you are unable to send a Sterling pound cheque, then an electronic Sterling transfer from your Bank can be made to our Bank Account. Alternatively, should you wish to pay by Euros we can agree the rental equivalent which can then be executed by either cheque or electronic transfer. If you are paying by this method, we would ask you to consider paying the amount in full rather than paying a deposit followed by the balance, so that we are only charged one set of bank fees!

We had a great week in the Studio. David & Gilly put up the tabletennis in the garage for our son and our 4y old daughter loved the swing. The studio itself was nice, cosy, clean and well-equipped. We walked along the foothpaths to the Canal, visited Rye, Canterbury, White Cliffs, there is so much to see, we'd like to come again!

loved the studio very bright and homely lovely setting in woodland very clean and well equiped,a lot of thought has gone into the set out inside plenty to do in the area good walking plenty of beautiful countryside near coast as well,lots of national trust and english heritage places to visit we loved it and hope to come again very friendly and welcoming owners to

Excellent petit cottage, très cosy et impeccablement tenu. Tout confort fonctionnel et prêt à vivre. Environnement de qualité entre colline boisée, marais et mer.
Charme et qualité de vie typiquement anglais. Egalement idéal pour les amateurs de brocante ( à Hythe, et Rye notamment). A choisir sans réserve.

If you're looking for a relaxing break with all the mod cons, then this is a great place to stay. Village centre is 20 mins walk away and has shops, bakery, butcher and post office.

Cottage is spotless, warm and inviting. It has everything you need, is extremely well presented. David and Gilly are extremely hospitable and helpful.

We would definately recommend this property to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway in the gorgeous Kent countryside.

This is a really nice place to stay. We have stayed twice now and would not hesitate to go back again.

It is a home away from home with everything you need. David & Gilly are very freindly and welcoming.

We have to children age 8 & 2 and they love it there. There was plenty of room for a family of 4.

I would recomend this place to anybody wanting to vist kent.
