Casa Magnolia is located on the gentle hills in the heart of Mediavalle del Serchio and Garfagnana, close to a picturesque hilltop village of medieval origin. It is a lovely renovated house where you can relax surrounded by the pure fresh air and sunbathe in the big garden, very suitable and safe also for children. Casa Magnolia is a simply comfortable house just within 5 min walking from the historical centre of the village, where you can walk through the narrow stone-paved streets breathing the historical atmosphere with churches, stone gates... but also where you can find all the facilities you may require: like a couple of pizzerias, restaurants, greengrocer’s, chemist’s and even a small bank! Its location represents a fantastic start for long walking within the nature but it is also central and very suitable for taking your car and reach Barga, Bagni di Lucca, Lucca, Pisa, the beaches of Viareggio on the coast and even Florence and Siena.

Notes: The wood for fireplace is free. Linen and towels are included and changed weekly. The property is cleaned before and after the stay. Additional cleaning can be arranged at a reasonable cost. There are some steps to reach the entrance. The apartment is located on the first floor of the building and accessible only by a flight of stairs not very suitable for people with mobility problems. ONE DAY DURING YOUR HOLIDAY, WE WILL BE GLAD TO SHOW YOU HOW TO COOK A TRADITIONAL CAKE, MADE OF CHESTNUT FLOUR.

well what can i say about this villa, its very large, with 3 good sizes bedrooms, and a masiv big kitchen with all that you need and more !! also if there is a big family, there is 2 bathrooms, witch is a good thing as we all know !! its in a great part of coreglia, and not far by car or public transport to all big tuscana city,s. the villa has great veiws over the hills. the owners are such helpfull and kind people.
my father is from coreglia, and we go back every year, and i will devo be staying at the villa again. 10/10

During a holiday, a family or a group of friends can relax in villa's garden or discover italian cities. Lucca is 30 km far from Coreglia, Viareggio 40 km, Pisa 60 km, Florence 100 km, Siena 170. You can reach all these cities by train or car. I suggest to reach Siena (the farest) by car. Have a nice holiday!

An Amazing Stay at Casa Magnolia

My three-month stay at Casa Magnolia was wonderful. The home provided me everything I needed, and was conveniently located to everything in Tuscany. The home was large enough, and well equipped for me to accommodate visitors all summer long. The views from the home are fantastic - the home was clean and welcoming when I arrived. Linneo and Maria were wonderful hosts, who allowed me my privacy yet were available whenever I needed something. The people of the village were so friendly and kind. I cannot wait to return there again!

Often people stays one or two weeks in Casa Magnolia.
The house (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen) fits perfectly also for a long stay, like your. Near the house, there are restaurants, grocery stores, a bank and a postal office. The house is located in a quiet place and guests can relax in a big garden. If you have a car, you can reach quickly famous Italian cities, like Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Genova.
For suggestions and help during your holiday, we live near Casa Magnolia!

A cosy base to start for discovering Tuscany

I live in Milan and I was there last year for doing rafting in Bagni di Lucca. The house is essential and cosy. I think it's ideal for family and groups (3 bedroom, 6 beds, 2 bathroom). One day I was in Florence (by train), one day in Lucca and Forte dei Marmi (beach for VIP !). The last day, I rested in the garden and we cooked a big barbecue. The owner teached us how to prepare the "necci" (chesnut cake).
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: Hello, thank you for your feedback. Rafting (over river Lima) is a good activity on springtime and autumn. In summertime, you can ride your bike down the mountain called Abetone! Ask me for suggestions!
