The apartment is in a quiet residential building with 2 lifts. Attractively furnished and decorated, it has a large living/dining-room with TV,including satelite TV and a covered terrace. Main bedroom with double bed, spacious wardrobe and ceiling fan, second bedroom with two single beds, two bathrooms both with bath/shower, very well-equipped kitchen with glass ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, separate laundry area. It is located in a central residential area close to shops and the sea.

This is a wonderfully comfortable, spacious, and well equipped apartment in a residential building in the middle of a residential neighborhood, close to the beach and to shopping facilities (e.g. a large supermarket). The owner and her son are very friendly and helped us with the internet connection as well as the parking space. The large kitchen allowed us to make full use of the wonderful Canarian foods. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the apartment and can recommend it to anyone wanting to experience both the city as well as the beach (and also the mountains, as the apartment is close to the freeway as well)!
Die Wohnung entsprach der Beschreibung. Es war alles sauber und liebevoll vorbereitet. Übergabe und Rückgabe klappten hervorragend. Schön fanden wir die 2 Bäder, So können sich 2 Personen zugleich fertig machen.Toll: nur 5 min zu Fuß zum schönen Cantreras-Strand, 5 min zum Stadtbus. Viele Geschäfte, Cafes und Restaurants in dedr nahen Umgebung.
My partner and I (nearly 72 and nearly 70 respectively) have just returned after four weeks in this highly-recommended apartment. It is much more spacious than the usual run of tourist accommodation – it used to be the owner's family home – and is very conveniently located, just three short blocks from the Playa de Las Canteras, the best beach in the Canaries, in one direction, and not much further in the other to the central market, with its wonderful displays of fresh fish, fruit, vegetables and cheeses. Bottled water and everyday groceries can be bought in the Spar or Hiperdino supermarkets, which are even closer.
The apartment is very comfortably furnished (two big sofas to lounge on in the living room), and well equipped with everything in good condition. The owner's son is also very helpful – he even printed out our return boarding passes when we couldn't find an internet cafe with a working printer (there should normally be one in the Salon Recreativo next to El Corte Ingles).
From the Avenida de Jose Mesa y Lopez, just a minute's walk from the apartment, it is possible to pick up very reasonably priced Global buses ('guaguas') and explore the whole of the north of the island. From the opposite side of the Avenida you can catch a yellow bus (No. 1) to Estacion San Telmo, from which buses run to the airport and other towns further south, or a No. 17 to Teatro Peres Galdos, on the edge of the Vegueta, the picturesque old part of the city, with its Cathedral, Casa de Colon, and other historic buildings.
Only one reservation about the apartment: it is flagged as being wheelchair-accessible, which it would be by lift from the car-parking basement level of the apartment block (but not via the main entrance, which has steep steps). However no one disabled enough to be in a wheelchair would be able to get into the shower in either of the bathrooms; both are above small but high-sided baths, and there are no grab rails. We were quite relieved that a wheelchair-bound friend whom we had invited to stay had opted out even before we knew this. Otherwise, the apartment was the perfect base for the holiday we needed to escape the worst of the British winter!
We had wonderful 6 weeks in this apartment in Las Palmas. It is situated in the centre on town and a few minutes of Canteras beach. Nearby were many food stores and "fruterias". Big trading centers, Las Arenas and El Corte Ingles, were also nearby. Alfredo Kraus Auditorio, for music lovers, was also at a short distance. The flat was big enough for 4 people, it was clean and quite well equiped. The owners, Marisa and Alfonso, were very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed living in this apartment and we can recommend it to anybody who is looking apartment in Las Palmas. Thank you Marisa and Alfonso for renting your home to us.

Our stay at the apartment was wonderful. We would stay again and would recommend it to others because of its location, cleanliness and equipment. Fantastic apartment manager, who made sure we had everything we needed. Well equipped kitchen. Washing machine in room. Reasonably quiet location. Just wonderful for what we needed.
Abbiamo trascorso una settimana a Las Palmas. L'appartamento dove abbiamo alloggiato in 4 adulti è comodo alla spiaggia, ai negozi e alla fermata degli autobus e dei taxi. Il locale è spazioso, luminoso, pulitissimo e fornitissimo. Curato anche il condominio che si trova in zona strategica e tranquilla allo stesso tempo.

The apartment is located in the city centre 250 m from the magnificent sandy beach of Las Canteras; it is 3 km long and great for swimming, walking or jogging. The main market is only
5 min walk. There are many restaurants, bars, cinemas, supermarkets, departments stores in the vicinity. The Alfredo-Kraus Auditorium is at one end of the beach, and there is an all-year-round program of concerts. There is a bus stop close to the apartment block and the central bus station is 3 km away.
