Fishermans Lodge is a cosy 2 bedroom Lodge. It has a double bed & a twin room.

The open plan kitchen & dining area has a rustic feel with its exposed beams. On a cold winters evening you can sit & relax in front of a warm cosy fire.

Outside there is a decking area with table & chairs.

Located along a quiet country road, it is the perfect place to escape the hustle & bustle of everyday life.

A short stroll will bring you to one of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland. Derrynane beach is a blue flag beach with a sheltered harbour & some of the most beautiful scenery in Ireland.

The tiny picturesqe village of Caherdaniel is a 30min walk. Home to the Great 'Liberator' Daniel O' Connell, Derrynane house & National Park is a visit not to be missed. It is full of character with a mix of old and new. There is a small grocery shop for all the essentials. The Blind Piper Bar & Retaurant is open all year round, where you can enjoy some good food and a quiet pint with the locals.

Fishing: Lambs Head is a popular fishing area. With plenty on offer from Shore, Rock & Beach fishing. In the nearby village of Waterville you can go fresh water fishing on the Lakes of Lough Curran.

Fishing trips are available between the months of April to September from Lambs Head Pier, which is only a 5 min drive. Lambs Head is popular for rock fishing, with plenty of places to go you are sure to catch a mackerel or two!

Derrynane Beach is good for bass fishing with plenty of surf.

Horse Riding: Eagle Rock Equestrian Center is located on Lambs Head. Beach trekking is a must.

The cater for the complete beginner to the more experienced rider.

They are open all year round.

Fishermans Lodge is located along The Ring of Kerry, on the peninsular tip of Ireland's SouthWest Coast. With some of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland it is the perfect base for a holiday.

There are plenty of activities from Motorised Kayaking along the bay, Horse Riding on the beach, shore, sea & lake fishing, stunning mountain & beach walks, surfing & swimming, golfing on wolrd famous golf courses & much more.

The area is rich in cultural history with Derrynane National Park & House, home of Daniel O' Connell The Liberator, and Staigue Fort at Castlecove, probably Ireland's finest example of a stone fort.

The world famous Skellig Michael Island can be visited by boat from Derrynane Harbour. The little Skellig is home to thousands of gannets, puffins, & cormorants, with more than 20,000 pairs of gannets nesting during the summer season.

Discover Muckross House, Garden & Traditional Farms. Situated in Killarney National park, it is amongst the most popular of Irish visitor attractions.
