Newly remodeled two bedroom, one bath apartment in a quiet, secure four plex in the downtown area of Anchorage. Non smoking unit.

Close to the Sullivan Arena, Ben Boeke Ice Arena, Mulcahy Stadium, Chester Creek trails. Pets accepted on approval with additional deposit. Washer/dryer on-site.

About The Owner

25 years total in Anchorage. Grew up in Seattle area, moved to Anchorage in 1981 and fell in love with it here. Met my husband and decided to make it home. We moved out of state for 5 years, but eventually came back to raise our two sons here. We enjoy the outdoors, cabin on Big Lake, 4 wheeling, snow machining.

I bought this little 5 unit apartment building in 2005 from the previous owner who had set it up as vacation rentals. Through the years I have gradually improved each unit, new carpet, paint, furniture, furnishings. I began managing Corporate Rentals in 2005 for Walt Pease & Associates so this was a perfect match.

What makes this apartment unique

Although this is an apartment rather than a single family home, many travelers find that this is a perfect little 'home base' when visiting Anchorage.

Overall the property met our needs. It was close to where we wanted to be and was a convenient location. The property was clean and provided all necessary kitchen amenities. The beds were clean and comfortable and the furniture was also comfortable. The only negative was in the bathroom. The bathtub drain needs to be snaked out. The water in the shower built up to your ankles every time we showered. We used the included strainer basket to collect hair but the water level still did not recede timely.

Other than that I would recommend the home to anyone who needs to stay in Anchorage.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. Sorry you had the problem with the bathroom drain. I pride myself on taking care of all repair requests as soon as I'm notified of such. This is the first report of this problem that I've had. I will have this taken care of right away!

Comfortable and clean!

My husband and I stayed here while visiting family for the week of Christmas. The location was perfect, just blocks away from our daughter's home. The kitchen seemed to have everything one would need to cook just about anything. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the apartment was SPOTLESSLY CLEAN!

We had a great stay!

My partner and I spent almost 5 months in this apartment during a temporary work assignment in Anchorage (before moving to Anchorage permanently) and we greatly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and it came with all of the furniture and other necessities -- like sheets, towels, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, toaster, coffeemaker, etc. In fact, never did we find the apartment lacking anything we needed. The location is great: it offers quick access to Anchorage's trail system and it is within walking distance of downtown. Also, Sally (the owner) and Nancy (the caretaker who lives in the building) both are supremely nice and helpful. We could not have been happier with our stay.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

The unit is spacious and very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The unit is in a good location and very accessible to downtown and other activities. There is a new flat screen TV which works very well including cable. I would recommend this to anyone.
