Our light-drenched, one-bedroom apartment is filled with Art Deco antiques and oak floors, but it's as comfortable as your own home. Enjoy Montmartre cafes and restaurants, bustling with people till the wee hours, then retreat to your calm oasis: Villa Dancourt is in its own private courtyard, with little 'French balconies' and views of the rooftops of old Paris. Six flights up (with an elevator), the apartment has been restored to its original elegance, but with all the modern conveniences, including remodelled kitchen and bath, high-speed internet, and home entertainment. You'll experience Paris like a real Parisian. And Parisians who aren’t lucky enough to live in the neighborhood come here for cocktails, jazz, and people-watching at Café Sancerre on Rue des Abbesses, or to sit on the steps of Sacré Coeur to watch the city spread like so many jewels at their feet. Villa Dancourt is a short stroll to Place du Tertre, Montmartre Cemetary, the Moulin Rouge, and Brasserie Wepler.

Night and day the narrow winding cobblestone streets are filled with visitors seeing the sights, and Parisians coming home with baguettes under their arm. The French restaurants in the neighborhood are wonderful and abundant, and there's excellent Asian, Nouvelle Fusion, Middle Eastern and Hungarian cuisine within a few blocks. Tucked among the boulangeries, patisseries, fromageries, and wine shops, you’ll discover romantic restaurants, hip cafés and bars, and shops selling everything from high-design graphic novels and cool clothing to contemporary art and classic antiques. Opéra and the Galeries Lafayette department stores are within walking distance, and you can get everywhere else in Paris by an easy métro or bus ride. Additional information about rental rates

  • Rates are quoted in British pounds (may vary depending upon current exchange rate at time of booking). Minimum rental fee: £470.
    Credit cards will be processed in US dollars at the current rate. One-half of the total rental fee reserves the dates. The remainder will be due four weeks prior to your visit. If reservation is less than 4 weeks in advance, payment in full is required.
    Check-in is after 3 p.m. on the date of arrival, and check-out is by noon on the date of departure. A security deposit of £500, or an amount equal to one week's rent for longer stays, will be authorized (but not charged) on your credit card before the first day of the rental. Cancellations 30 days or more before the first day of rental: 90% refund. Cancellation less than 30 days in advance: payment is forfeited, unless we are able to rent the apartment for those days, in which case we will refund 80%.
  • After your reservation has been confirmed, we will send you detailed instructions for your arrival.
    Special requests (flowers, champagne, chocolates, whatever) can be arranged for an additional fee.

Notes: The kitchen is completely remodeled with all-new appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave, and it's stocked with pots and pans and cooking staples—perfect for pulling together wine and hors d’oeuvres or cooking a meal. Watch a movie from our DVD collection, listen to some classic French music, or play your own music in the iPod docking station. There’s central radiator heating in winter and great cross-ventilation plus a ceiling fan for summer. You will be greeted on your arrival at Villa Dancourt by our wonderful Paris liaison, who speaks English and French and is available to help you should any emergencies arise. You can also arrange to have someone come and clean during your stay, for an additional fee. And there is a public swimming pool across the Boulevard, and a garage right downstairs, with hourly, weekly, and monthly rates available.
