The Villa Anna consists of two levels:

Ground floor: gate entrance to garden (which surrounds the whole property), bright entrance hall,elegant sitting room (with antique furnishing), spacious living room with TV, small toilet, double bedroom with en suite bathroom (with shower box), elegant drawing room, spacious dining room connected to a beautiful, large, fully-equipped kitchen, with access to the garden and a medium size utility room. The kitchen is great for cooking classes!

First floor: spacious hall-way; double bedroom which opens onto a huge terrace provided (60 square metres) with garden furniture (for sitting and enjoying the sun) and en suite bathroom (with bath-tub); two twin bedrooms, one open onto the large terrace and one with another private little terrace, both with en suite bathrooms (with shower boxes); double bedroom with en suite bathroom (with shower box); small hall-way with wardrobe.

The Villa Anna is a very elegant, liberty style, detached villa, of the beginning of the 1900's.

It has just been restored, with all modern comforts but still maintaining it's original beauty and is very spacious and comfortable. It has 5 bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms. There is a separate toilet with wash-basin. It is set on two floors and has a very large terrace (provided with table and chairs) and a private garden with a gazebo out of the kitchen where you can enjoy your dinner al fresco.

Location:

The Villa Anna is very well positioned in an area called Sant'Anna, about 1 km away from the city walls and historical centre of Lucca, easy to walk or cycle to. Supermarket, grocery stores, bakeries, cafes can all be reached within a 2 minute walk and are all located along the main road which leads to the city centre. Sant'Anna was the area where the noble families decided to build their liberty style villas, as in the past the area just around the walls was 'countryside' .. today is not countryside but it is a very comfortable suburban area where you can find everything you may need (paarking included) very close to the historical centre. - it very very important to understand thta everything you may need is within walking or cycling distance.

Free Car Park available - one car maybe two can be parked within the garden .. more cars outside the villa there are several possibilites to park for free.

A very few steps from Lucca's Wall. West side. Riding path from the villa's gate to the Walls. Along the street from the villa to the historic centre you may find everything you may need: groceries, bakeries, ice cream, cafès, a church, postal office, banks, rosticceria and so on...The riding path leads you straight to Piazzale Verdi, just inside Porta Sant Anna. here there is the bus station and the information office. Form here Via San Paolino (one of the best nearby in Lucca to buy food) leads you to San Michele square... you are in the heart of the historic centre!

The train station is slightly further away... but there is a city bus service which can be catch just in front of the Villa to go to the train station in 5 minutes.

A perfect Stay
