Ski: The famous 'Kings run' from Mt. Titlis (10,000 feet) to Engelberg (3,000 feet) claims to be one of the most beautiful runs of the Alps! measuring just under 12 Kilometres (7.5 Miles) long with an altitude difference of 7,00 feet! A free riders heaven Engelberg offers 25 various cable transportation systems (cable-cars and mainly chairlifts, some T-bar lifts), 82 kilometres of downhill ski and snowboard runs, 39 kilometres of cross-country skiing. The run Mt. Titlis - Stand can be considered as a difficult downhill run. The run from Stand to TrĂĽbsee and the Jochpass-Engstlenalp areas are very suitable for intermediate skiers. The run between TrĂĽbsee and Engelberg is ideal for families and for the less-experienced. Today one of the biggest resort events surrounds the much celebrated, only natural ski jump in Europe .The FIS Ski-Jumping World Cup sees the best in the world compete for the most coveted title outside of the Olympic Games.
