Apartment with sofa bed for 2 people in the heart of Bergamo

'The balconies' is a nice studio apartment which is on the first floor of a small building recently renovated. The apartment is comfortable and functional designed for two people. It 'consists of a large and bright living area furnished with some furniture in the local tradition as well as a comfortable sofa bed. Complete a dining space and a kitchen with fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle and washing machine. It has a large green and white marble bathroom with tub. In the studio there are amenities such as satellite TV. Guests have a mini-mini-library and video library multilingual.

The spacious and bright studio apartment is located a short distance of the pedestrian area of the town with its shops, its restaurants, its monuments and its many historic churches. Located in the center is served by public transport and is within walking distance of the train station even as the main places of historical and cultural interest. The airport of Orio al Serio is a little over 10 minutes by car. With a pass you can park in the parking lots for residents only with yellow stripes.

'The balconies' are in Bergamo Bassa, just steps away from the busiest shopping streets. Pleasant to walk these streets and lanes, watch windows, sit in one of the many bars and enjoy a good espresso or an ice-cream. From the you can reach the Upper City with an easy walk or bus or the funicular typical. In Upper Town you can visit the major points of historical and cultural interest: the Cathedral, Piazza Vecchia, the Colleoni Chapel, the Rock, the Walls. Being in the center of the Turin-Venice, you can easily reach these two cities in about two hours. Milan, Verona, Lake Garda, Como, Iseo and Idro are about an hour away. By train or car in a few hours you can also visit cities such as Bologna, Genoa and over the nearby Switzerland.

Everything about this place was excellent: location, interiors, facilities, the owners... It was a pleasure for us to stay in this apartment. It is easily reached by feet, warm and cosy, comfortable and lovely with all you need to feel yourselves like home.
I would for sure recommend it for any type of stay, either week-end runaway (as we did), or guest accommodation, or long-time stay, business trip etc..

Perfect from start to finish, everything you need , central for shopping,sight seeing and eating out. The owner is one of the nicest ladies that it has been my pleasure to deal with and I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone seeking to stay in the heart of the city and immerse themselves in local life as we did.

Pricing is very resonable for such accomodation and we paid more for our second rental on that holiday ( in a different location) and it wasnt half as nice....


Love, love, loved it and am without doubt going back next year !!!
