Golf: Olgiata Golf Club
The 27 holes golf course of the Olgiata Golf Club was inaugurated in 1961 and designed and realized by the English architect C. Kenneth Cotton and re-styled in 1996 by the American architect Jim Fazio.
In addition to a spectacular golf course, the Olgiata Golf Club is also and above all a Club.
This is reflected not only by the high level of the membership, but also by the facilities available to members, ranging from the wonderful swimming pool open from May to October, to the restaurant capable of seating more than 90 persons, and on to the recently built gym equipped with locker rooms and “fitness” area.
Ski: Campo Felice
Campo Felice is one of the most known resorts of the Italian Appennino Centrale, located in Abruzzo Province of L'Aquila in the district of L’Aquila and a destination hungered by Roman tourists. From Monte Rotondo’s peak, you can admire a breathtaking view and Gran Sasso, Sirente, Velino, Duchessa and Maiella can be contained in one single look as a big hug. The dell of Campo Felice has a wide skiing area, well served by facilities taking you back again at the top of the runs, with suitable runs for any type of skier and with drops exceeding 600 metres as well.
Campo Felice is also one of the few skiing resorts of Central Italy allowing the connection between two mountain sides: the Altopiano delle Rocche (that is Rocca di Cambio, Rocca di Mezzo and Ovindoli) with the side of Campo Felice (that is Lucoli and Tornimparte) and vice versa, wearing skis.
